Average Afternoon (Open)

Satoshi stood outside of the Genin academy near the training grounds. It was a place he enjoyed to hang out at when he had nothing to do for some reason. He honestly had no idea why as watching the Genin train did not interest him at all. A genin with bright red hair came out and drew a lang sword and began a relentless assault on a post, nearly splitting it in two. Satoshi laughed a little bit and disappeared, reappearing in an instant on top of the post in a sort of crouched stand. He looked down at the kid. "You know, fighting a post is never going to teach you anything. You need to fight a real target that can move and fight back." He said to the young genin with a smirk on his face, showing small fangs instead of normal teeth.

Satoshi sighed and jumped from the top of the post. He drew his dual bladed scythe and slashed at the post, slicing it clean in half to where the sword was visible. He grabbed it by the hilt and pulled it free, handing it back to the Genin. "Might I offer some help?" He asked. Was he really going to help this kid? It was so uncharacteristic of him. It was something he never did. He preferred to stay away from people, other than Riku. But he actually felt like helping this kid for some reason. Besides, it would be interesting to test the limits of his immortality granted by Jashin. He held out his scythe and pointed it towards the kid. "Try and cut me." He said, his grin returning.

The boy charged at him with his sword drawn. Satoshi quickly took off his coat, revealing a black tanktop much like the boy's. The boy jumped to the side and slashed downwards at Satoshi's chest. Rather than dodging or blocking, he decided to give the boy a display of power and let the blow strike him. The blade sliced through his chest, leaving a large but shallow wound. Blood trickled down as Satoshi stared at a boy with an expression that showed no sign of pain what-so-ever. He flipped his scythe in his hand and murmered "My turn." At the boy, swinging in a wide horizontal ark. He didn't intend to hit the boy, but he didn't want to stand there the entire fight. He wanted the boy to have a real fight to test his limits.

The kid tripped backwards and managed to dodge the strike. He regained his stance and rushed Satoshi's left, apparently trying to avoid the scythe. Too bad for the kid that he didn't know Satoshi's scythe. He flicked his wrist and turned, swinging the scythe horizontally at the kid. He wasn't close enough for the strike to land normally, but the flick of his wrist had activated something. As he swung, the end of the scythe where the blades were flew out of the handle, connected by a chain. They caused his horizontal slash to be much wider and greatly increased his range, successfully keeping the Genin at bay. He hoped that rather than just dodging, he could maneuver around the attack and counter.

The Genin held up his blade and redirected the trajectory of the chain, allowing him to dodge the blades. He then charged in and slashed again at Satoshi's mid-section. The strike hit him, sending blood spurting. Satoshi gave the boy a look of pure madness and pumped a small amount of chakra into his scythe. The chakra ran up the chain and began to move. Using his chakra, he caused the chain to lift up and the blades to come back and fly towards the Genin's back.

The boy knew he couldn't dodge Satoshi's attack. Instead. he performed a substitution jutsu with his own sword. Bold move. The sword snapped and a section of the blade broke off, flying towards Satoshi, stabbing him in the right side of the chest. He grabbed it with his left hand and pulled it out, tossing it to the side. "Don't be deterred. I have a power you couldn't imagine, but it allows me to be a good instructor." He spoke, laughing a little. He flicked his wrist and the chain retracted, snapping the scythe blades back into place. "Do you want to keep going?"

The Genin said he wanted to keep going despite his exhaustion. He then grinned at Satoshi and seemed to challenge him to strike. Perhaps the boy was seeing what kind of man Satoshi was, seeing if he'd attack a weakened opponent. Unfortunately for the boy, Satoshi had given up morals and his over all humanity long ago. He grinned back at the boy. Chakra began swirling around him though it wasn't normal chakra. This chakra felt almost evil, taking a deep red color. It covered his entire body, creating fox like ears, a long tail, and claws over his hands. His eyes turned into red cat eyes and three lines across each cheek. He grinned at the boy and disappeared, reappearing behind him. It wasn't a Flash Step, but rather Satoshi's full movement speed. As he appeared behind the Genin, he was in the air a bout a foot, coming down on him, turned to the left, his scythe in his right hand being helf by his left shoulder preparing for a wide and fast strike.

The boy turned but could not do so fast enough to defend himself. Good thing Satoshi had no intentions of killing him, as the boy would surely be dead right now. He swung his scythe, releasing the chains. The blades wrapped around the boy's torso, binding him with the chains. He yanked on the other end and pulled the boy to the ground, landing beside him. He looked down with an intense glare, a grin of almost pure madness spread across his face. The wounds the boy had made on him began to sizzle and slowly close themselves. Not that he needed to heal, as he was immortal. This was simply something the Fox's chakra always did to him. He bent down next to the boy, still holding the other end of the chains. "Are you scared" He asked menacingly, giving the boy a crazed smile. It was a dumb question because he knew the answer. Who wouldn't be scared at this?

The boy remained silent at Satoshi's question, instead focusing on struggling to get free. With a flick of his wrist, the chains unwrapped from the boy and shot back into the handle, becoming a scythe once again. He didn't know why, but he seemed to like the boy. He sat down on a rock and set his scythe on the ground. He reached into a pocket on his jacket and pulled out a cigarette. Forming a quick hand seal, he conjured a small flame in his hand to light the tip. "So, tell me; What are your religious beliefs? Is there a god you worship?" He spoke in a calm and intrigued tone. This was by far the most humane Satoshi had ever looked in his life. He sat on the rock with his legs in front of him spread a bit in a casual manner. He had his arms rested on his knees and his hands hanging down, cigarette in one.

The boy answered, saying he hadn't given much thought into religion. Not many people did. He took another hit of his cigarette and resumed his casual stature. "Before I continue, what is your name? Mine's Satoshi." He asked.

The boy answered, saying his name was Senshi. Satoshi nodded and continued with what he was about to say. He reached down into his jacket and pulled out a necklace with a red pendant of a circle with an upside-down triangle inside of it. "I worship a god named Jashin. Many may see him as an evil god and even more evil when they learn of the rituals they must perform to worship him, but they don't understand." He put the cigarette in his mouth and drew out a kunai. He pulled up his left sleeve, revealing a series of deep, scabbed over cuts. He carved into his arm once and let the blood drip before pushing back down his sleeve and putting the kunai back in the pouch. "See?" He pulled the cigarette back out of his mouth. "But Jashin is not as evil as many seem to think. In fact, he is the reason that I was able to take your strikes and show no signs of weakness at all. I have other abilities too, but those would require me to take a life to show you." He smiled at the boy. Perhaps he would convert the boy to Jashinism.
