Another Day (Open)

Another typical in Kirigakure, no trouble and no mission assigned. It was the same type of days that seemed to bring a dull, blank emotion in the mind of Asami Hisako. Like she always did on days like this she went down to a local dojo in the village one where normal ninja would come to spar or at least watch a few sparring sessions take place. Sometimes people who wished to be really active in the even would even take part in the battles. Today was no different when she arrived at the dojo there was a crowd of people watching to Genin Taijutsu specialist go at it. Asami crossed her arms over her chest looking at the ninja.

She herself was not a big fan of watching these amateur fights, but every once in a while she would hope that she witnesses some stunning ninja come forth and display a strong battle for the crowd. That was one thing Asami had a weakness for, She knew above all else that if she was to find someone to admire it would be here. There was always that strange feeling that Asami got in her stomach everytime she saw a strong ninja, it made her want to aspire to be like the ninja. She even goes as far as to train herself in the most flashy of Taijutsu moves just for her to be able to wow the crowd and be known as a great shinobi.

Stong kicks and punches were tossed as the two Genin continued their little brawl. Each of them showing a smirk on their face as though they enjoyed every moment of testing each other's skill. Suzuki Hiro was the name of combatants. A recently graduated Genin only 15 years of age. He had a reputation of being a knucklehead and always seemed to end up in everyone's problem but his own. The Second combatant was Kenji Fujiko, a Genin that came from the same graduating class as Asami, he was only 16, the same age as Asami. She never really paid him any mind as he was just a strict Taijutsu user, some people wondered how he even passed the exam at all being that no one has ever seen him do any ninjutsu.
"Well look at that.."Asami chuckled placing her hand on her chin admiring the one person she seemed to recognize in the arena. Not like it surprised her, she figured the day would come when she actually meets him in this place, but she never expected so soon.

Suzuki leaned his body as low as possible to the ground still using his left arm for leverage as he sent a sweep kick with his left leg at Fujiko who instantly dodged with a backflip onto his right hand. The crowd was in awe at Fujiko's upper body strength as he was able to not only support, but balance his entire body upwards on just one hand. Some of the crowd even clapped at the display but Asami was not impressed. Since she was a shinobi it was common to see things like this.
Pushing off of his hand moving into a leap Fujiko descended with a straight axe kick sending his heel directly onto the head of Suzuki knocking him down face first into the mat.
"It is over!!! The Referee announced as he rose his left hand which favored the standing position of Fujiko to declare him the winner. The crowd went crazy and started cheering his name as that was the best performance of the evening. Asami however didn't clap she actually turned around to leave but ended up walking to the stands a bit further from the crowd sitting on the the nearest bench she could find.

It is over!!!

The referee screamed as Fujiko, Kenji Genin of Kirigakure won the spar with a single blow. The crowd was in awe, but one man in the corner had a very different face. His name was Soshi Tsuriai, and his face was that of disappointment, Soshi had joined this tournament on a whim, thinking he would be able to crush any opponent that came his way it didn't appear as that would be the case this time around. The boy who stood victorious in the ring awaiting his next king of hill opponent was on a higher level of Taijutsu than Soshi, and the fight was certainly not going to be easy... All the serious and deliberate thoughts faded, Soshi released his fears and his dismay at having to fight a strong opponent and grinned, what a glorious challenge this would become for him. Clenching his right hand Soshi raised slightly and tucked his elbow into his chest,

"Booyah"

The announcer came a moment later, "And now entering the ring to face or current champion, Village Genin Rank Ninja - Soshi Sewreeai!!" Bah, the announcer completely failed on pronouncing his last name, what a mood crushing attack for his optimistic side. Soshi let out a long breath and pumped himself up breifly, running in place . It must have taken to long because the announcer returned.

"Soshi Sowreeai?" The announcer failed the pronunciation once again, differently this time, but by calling Soshi a second time he let go of his pump-up and just entered the view of the spectators, waving and smiling as he made his way towards the arena. Upon entering he bowed to his opponent, who did not bow back, instead the cocky ninja spoke to him.

"Punk, I just shut the last kid down with one attack, think you can possibly win? When you didn't come out at first I thought you were just smart enough not to fight me!... Heh guess I was wrong" The boy was sure confident in his abilities, Soshi just stood there and scratched his head, pointing at the boy in confusion he spoke.

"You know your a Genin... right?" The boy got slightly angry as Soshi's somewhat mocking tone obviously annoyed him. Kenji went to speak but he was cut off by the referee.

"Alright boys I want clean fight, no jutsu, no weapons, and the first one to surrender or become incapacitated loses, Ready?" The boys took their positions and nodded, Kenji had a serious look of distaste and bitterness on his face, and Soshi smiled at him, even closing his eyes to seem sincere. The ref raised his hand, and halfway through the down drop, Kenji burst towards Soshi, jumping to smash with his hands clenched together. Soshi wasn't completely preppared for the early attack, but the jump gave him time to react, tucking and rolling to the side he let Kenji smash the ground with his fists.

"Wow, that must have hurt." Soshi was still smiling, even closing his eyes again at the Kenji. Kenji found none of the funny and fist shaking charged blankly, his speed was incredible, above Soshi's in every way, and the only reaction Shoshi had to his opponents charging sucker punch, was to block with his arms crossed infront of his face. The blow struck dreadfully hard, and sound of skin contact threw the crowd into an uproar, most of them chanting for Kenji. Kenji pulled back for a moment to smirk.

"You see kid, it's my name there calling!" his voice was angry, and annoyed, he obviously wasn't use to a ninja that could take some of his beatings. Soshi smiled back at the red faced boy, speaking with sincerity.

"Yep, you sure are amazing, you should probably take on the Kage, obviously it's your destiny". The sincerity began to fade as the second half of the sentence began, it turned into an obvious mocking tone. Kenji clenched his teeth together in anger and charged a third time, this time Soshi did not defend himself. The blow would be to his stomach, and Soshi flexed to prevent most of the damage, it would still send him stammering backwards, but he refused to reveal how much it had actually hurt him instead, he regulated his breathing and whispered.

"Is that all you got?"

This strange display of stamina and bravery that the newcomer Soshi displayed began making the crowd wonder if he was just really strong or a complete idiot. It was clear that the boy obviously was not as skilled in Taijutsu as Kenji but perhaps he was doing this to test the limits of Kenji's strenght. Asami looked up at the fight as it had began to seem interesting due to the crowds side comments, perhaps a better view of the fight would prove useful she thought and in such she moved from her seat to the stands closer to the arena.

"The fuck is he doing?" A man in the front row said.
"I couldn't tell ya..Looks like he's..losing? Or winning or..I don't even know..he's just taking the hits.."His friend responded after seeing Soshi take a strike to the stomach from Kenji. Asami couldn't help but notice the look of complete happiness on Soshi's face, maybe he was so strong that Kenji's attacks were like nothing to him and clearly by the way he was talking he was mocking Kenji's power. Asami felt that feeling again, she seemed a little impressed by the attitude of Soshi, usually she knew ninja who acted humble held tremendous power and Asami had a weakness for men with this strength, especially when they were as attractive as Soshi. Her face lit up with a light blush before she shook it off trying to seem impressed with the performance.

"Kenji come on hit him harder!!" Asami called out to Kenji as she placed her hands on the banister of the stands.
"The hell she came from?" The man next him said to his friend a little confused as to why she came out of nowhere, His friend only responded with a shrug of the shoulders. Asami played the role of Kenji's supporter, she did not want to seem too interested in the newcomer, if he was as strong as she thought this would be the perfect test to see.

Kenji was furious, the crowd was yelling for him to hit harder, they seemed to be cheering him on. Like he was the weak one? This was all ridiculous, he was winning, wasn't he? Kenji was starting to believe in the support he was receiving, and it was making him doubt he could win, was his opponent toying with him? Kenji tried to focus, checking his opponents breathing, it seemed to be fine so he couldn't be exhausted... What the hell was going on!?

Soshi was glad his opponent was taking time to address the situation, these blows really did hurt like hell, if Soshi kept it up much longer he would be in the hospital, this needed to end. Soshi decided to make his final move.

"Kenji come on hit him harder!!"

The voice came from a girl at the railings? was his girlfriend cheering him on? oh this was just unfair. Soshi brought one hand up to his face, and swept his hair backwards, trying to look 'cool', afterwords he slowly began to approach Kenji, his walk was very casual, Kenji looked at him, and then his feet, and then back to Soshi's face in disbelief, he was panicking a little bit, like he was going to be attacked. Kenji through up a guard the covered his vision somewhat, but when no attack came he began to lower, seeing Soshi walk directly past him, so close, like he wasn't even there. Soshi smiled and approach the railing and the girl.

"Now whats a pretty girl like you doin' cheering on a chump like him?" Soshi was smiling as he spoke, and as he did Kenji's face grew increasingly red in anger, if this was a cartoon steam would be shooting from his ears. Kenji screamed.

"You bastard! Don't Ignore me! I'll KILL YOU!!" As Kenji was obviously getting ready for his attack Soshi's smile faded, but only the audience and the girl could see it. Winking at the girl a teal aura began to surround his body, it was somewhat transparent and faint, but it was obvious the Chakra was not that of a humans. Kenji in his rage was blinded of just what was happening, and as the clever Soshi had been planning from the start he rushed like a berserker on the highlands, unthinking of a counter attack. The moment was quick; Soshi dodged the mans lunging punch, and watched in hilarity as Kenji hit his hand for the second time the match, this time against the railing which bent and moaned from the force. Kenji pulled his fist away and turned to swing again, but the Teal Aured Soshi caught the blow with one hand. Kenji swung his other fist, but to the same effect.

"Your worn out my friend, give it a break." Soshi spoke without his smile, he wanted the mans courage and determination to win. To fall even farther than he had already forced it to do. Soshi had broken this mans will to fight, and without that he had no hopes of winning. Clenching the grip Soshi gave Kenji a brief smile, he knew he had won already. Turning his head and swinging his body Soshi pulled the the poor Genin into the air, and as he lifted he spun... and spun, and spun, and spun. Finally reaching a high spinning velocity Soshi leaped and curved his body, forcing his spins to aim towards the air, and then as he released; towards the ground.

There was a large smashing sound as Kenji's unconscious body bounced on the arena floor.

God damn..well it's safe to say this guys is down! The referee spoke point at Soshi to call the match in his favor. Instantly the crowd went wild, they began cheering in Soshi's favor as they waved their hands around laughing and talking amongst their friends.
"Hot damn that crazy!"
"Really whooped that Kenji guy good"
"Yeaah Soshi!! You the man!!"
All these words of praise and more followed as the crowd continued their praise. Kirigakure medical ninja entered the ring checking on Kenji to make sure he was alright before escorting him outside the ring.

Asami looked at the boy in awe at his skill at fighting.To think that in such little time he was able to casually address her as well as end the match with such a spectacular win. This was beyond what she had expected to see this time around. Asami hopped over the banister as she walked in range of the boy addressed as Soshi trying to control herself not to blush in his presence.
"Wow your quite the fighter there..Impressive I don't think I've ever seen Kenji taken down so quickly or at all for that matter." Asami smiled lightly as she extended her arm out for a formal shake.
"I'm Asami..Asami Hisako."

The referee called the match in Soshi's favor, he didn't care much for the win but he did enjoy the publicity of it. People cheered his name briefly, getting excited for the next match no doubt. Soshi's scratched the back of his head and smiled, unsure of how to respond to such positive feedback, luckily he wouldn't have to.

I'm Asami..Asami Hisako.

Huh? Soshi spun not hearing the words spoken to see the railing girl offering her hand for a formal greeting, he was confused for a moment, wasn't she with that other guy? Not that it mattered.

"Soshi's the name, Soshi Tsuriai" His handshake was firm, but it in no way caused pain. He smiled at the girl and then still holding her hand he raised the other the scratch his head.

"Shouldn't you follow your boyfriend?" his scratching hand stopped to point out at the man being helped away by medical nin.

Asami's eyes narrowed a little as she was asked the question by Soshi as she had not the slightest thoughts of Kenji in that way. By his words however she came under the assumption that he must have thought that she came here for Kenji being that she actually ended up trying to see Kenji win yet another fight. Asami crossed her arms over her chest as she looked away with her eyes closed almost pouting at his words.
"Really now, me?..You really think someone that weak like Kenji could be my boyfriend don't be ridiculous." Asami had no idea what she was talking about being that Kenji had graduated with the top score in Taijutsu. He in fact was tied with Asami herself.

Asami turned back to Soshi her eyes scanning the boy's face and then down his body and back again. Asami motioned for him to walk and talk with him trying to clear the way for the next fight. Crossing parallel to the next two combatants who were now more fired that ever to compete due to Soshi's performance, Asami tried to depict to herself what type of fighter was Soshi to take all the punishment.
"Soshi I need to ask a question if you don't mind. What extremely physical discipline do you go through to be able to take damage like that and not feel a thing?"

"Really now, me?..You really think someone that weak like Kenji could be my boyfriend don't be ridiculous."

Her response surprised Soshi, he swore they were together, and he was too weak for her? talk about high standards. Soshi was led away from the arena by the girl and he went to ask her name but was cut off before he could speak.

"Soshi I need to ask a question if you don't mind. What extremely physical discipline do you go through to be able to take damage like that and not feel a thing?"

Soshi listened to the girl speak, but he did not answer immediately, instead he motioned for her to follow as he moved behind a close but small dividing wall in the Dojo. As the site of the crowd dissipated behind the small wall Soshi keeled over, catching himself barely with his palms on the hard ground. Coughing a small fit, a patch of red burst from his throat like it had been waiting to come out for awhile now. As the small amount of blood splattered on the floor Soshi kept smiling, even laughing a small bit.

"I have no idea what training your talking about." Soshi's voice had a hint of sarcasm and glee as he kept his head down just in case of another cough, his stomach hurt like a bitch.

Soshi felt a sense of relief, like he would be fine for now, no coughing and so he stood slowly, bracing his arms against his legs as he stood. His smiling mouth had a small trial of blood as turned towards the girl,

"You know.. I never caught your name miss?"

Asami looked at Soshi with a light expression of confusion. He seemed fine during the fight but it seemed now that all of that showmanship was just an act. It was not as impressive as she had thought it to be, and for a moment, Asami had the intention of just walking away from him but he seemed as though he was in pain. Asami placed her palm on his forehead almost lightly brushing some of his hair up a little as she brought her face closer to his looking at him. His smiled seemed to show that there was really noting wrong with him, but Asami was no fool. He wasn't going to play this one off as he did the last.

"Hey never mind that for now Soshi..Your bleeding, and the way you were just a little while ago was..Are you okay?" Asami asked him showing a little concern, She didn't want to make it seem like she was going to go out of her way to make sure he was better, but he did fight Kenji after all. To make a situation even more worse, he actually beat Kenji taking a lot of direct blows in the process; not exactly the brightest way to secure a victory. Asami held onto Soshi's hand and pulled him out from behind the dividing wall. She looked around and left the dojo with him shortly after walking down the streets of Kirigakure.
"Sorry for doing this but your gonna need medical attention...I know there's a medical ninja somewhere in this town." Asami suggested looking around in the crowd of people trying to see if she might be lucky enough to spot a medic. It may have looked like Soshi really needed no help but Asami was not going to take no for an answer especially not the way he was a moment ago.

"Hey never mind that for now Soshi..Your bleeding, and the way you were just a little while ago was..Are you okay?"

Soshi nodded in response to the girl, she grabbed his hand and started leading him away from the Dojo. Where were they headed? Soshi released his Jinchuriki's Chakra again, covering his body in a light teal aura. The girl would be too busy to notice, but the addition of Chakra always sped the healing process.

"Sorry for doing this but your gonna need medical attention...I know there's a medical ninja somewhere in this town."

She was looking for a medical facility or ninja? Haha, oh wow was this a show of concern? Soshi didn't want to spoil the surprise, but he placed his second hand on the one that held him. His posture was no longer that of an injured person and he spoke softly in the hopes she would hear sincerity.

"I'm sorry miss, but I'm afraid your efforts will be in vain." His Chakra aura was very visible now, and the bruising on his body was beginning to fade quickly.

Asami looked around until she had actually spotted the Hospital nearest to her, She quickly ran over to it still holding Soshi's hand. It didn't even occur to her at the time that he was healing due to his Junchuriki aura. People however who saw her taking him in the direction of the hospital couldn't help but stare. Since it was not normal that they would be seeing the aura of a tailed beast. To Asami, it seemed as though because she was running towards the hospital passing a lot of men on the way, they would most likely be staring at the cleavage of her attire. A rather lecherous thing, but it was not something she wasn't used to, but this wasn't the case as they were in confusion.


When Asami arrived at the hospital she leaned over placing her hands on her knees panting because of running as she then turned around noticing that a lot of the bruises on Soshi's body were gone and the other ones were lightly healing. She tiled her head at a lost for words, She actually could not believe what she was seeing. After much conjuring she actually managed to find the right words to say.
"What-I mean How is it possible?..Is this some type of healing jutsu?"

Riku grabbed a handful of paper work and threw it in a bin on the side of his desk. "I'm fuckin' done for the day." He said in a rather annoyed tone. Satoshi stood in the corner in his usual attire, chuckling a bit.

"Thank god. I was falling asleep standing." He replied, uncrossing his arms and standing up straight. Riku gave him a look that said he didn't appreciate the joke. He grabbed his coat from the back of his chair and threw it on, walking to the door of the office and leaving. A woman ran up to him, asking if he had finished the paper work.

"You do it if it needs to be done." He replied, not even looking the woman in the eye and exiting the building, Satoshi laughing to himself the entire way. Riku had gotten news that Kirigakure had received another Jinchuriki. A young Genin by the name of Soshi Tsuriai. It was good because it added to Kiri's power, as they already had the nine tails with them. Riku looked back at Satoshi, who walked next to him but slightly behind him with his arms crossed, looking aimlessly about the village. It was a nice night out in his opinion.

"So where are we going?" Satoshi asked, not looking at Riku but continuing his gaze around the village.

"To the dojo. We need to meet the new Jinchuriki and I heard he had entered in tonight's tournament down there." Satoshi sighed. Watching young Genin fight was not his idea of fun. They were so weak compared to him. He could crush any of them with his thumb. Riku thought differently. Watching the young Genin strive so hard to become good ninja reminded him of himself. After all, if he hadn't tested himself like that when he was young, he wouldn't have become Mizukage at the young age of 19. It was rather funny, as his own personal guard and best friend, Satoshi, was older than he was.

They finally reached the dojo and stepped inside. It was filled with the usual sound of violence and cheering. Riku ignored the fight and walked back to where the ref stood. He asked if Soshi was there. The ref pointed towards the door, saying he ran off in the direction of the hospital with some girl. Riku sighed. The Jinchuriki had already gotten himself hurt. He had alot to learn. They left the dojo and headed out for the hospital, which only took a few minutes. Outside stood a girl attempting to catch her breath and a young boy with strange chakra; undoubtedly the Jinchuriki. Riku smiled and approached them. "You must be Soshi."

"You must be Soshi."

The boys head spun as someone obviously referred to him, who the hell was the guy? It didn't take long for Soshi to realize exactly who was addressing him though, hard to not know the face of your Kage. Soshi's mouth dropped for a moment, but he picked it up quickly. What on earth did the Mizukage have business with here?

"Um yeah? Soshi Tsuriai? Can I help you?" his voice came off a bit annoyed, not that he ment to, but he wanted to somehow still act cool and in control when he obviously was not. Soshi was still smiling, wide as ever, his aura of Chakra fading as the last of his bruises did. Soshi didn't forget about the girl behind him though, throwing one hand over his shoulder he pointed with his thumb.

"Oh and that's the girl that won't tell me her name" his voice had real annoyance in it now, he was trying to embarrass the girl slightly.

Asami bowed in respect to her kage as she saw him. She knew fully well that if the Kage and his top bodyguard were here looking for Soshi then this must be something big. It was not usual after all for the Kage to leave office but Asami was not going to judge. What raced through her head was what could he possibly want to seek out a boy like Soshi for personally. Could he not have just sent a messenger? At any rate Asami did not want to seem rude so she decided to introduce herself as Soshi pointed to her.

"I'm Asami..Asami Hisoka Lord Mizukage sir.." Asami did not pick her head up after she spoke as she actually was not sure of how to even address someone of his standards. This was her first time meeting him in person anyway. It was normal for her to be a little nervous.

Satoshi crossed his arms and took a few steps away, leaning against the trunk of a tree and looking away. He payed attention enough to make sure no one snuck in to attack Riku, but did not need to be there for the conversation. Riku watched as both Soshi and Asami seemed to become very nervous by his presence. "No need to act like this. Treat me like a normal Kiri ninja, please. And you may call me Riku." He replied to the two, giving a warming and friendly smile. He turned his attention towards Soshi now. "I wanted to speak with you. I hear you were chosen to become a Jinchuriki recently, correct?" He awaited the boy's answer. He assessed him. He didn't seem too strong, but was at an age where he seriously needed to learn to defend himself, especially as a Jinchuriki. Riku might have to teach him some things. Satoshi would definitely be a big help too, being a Jinchuriki himself.

"I'm Asami..Asami Hisoka Lord Mizukage sir.."

Soshi finally caught her name, Asami.. Pretty.

"No need to act like this. Treat me like a normal Kiri ninja, please. And you may call me Riku."

Treat him like a Kiri nin? Fair enough, no more humbleness from this ninja. Soshi had a thing for taking situations lightly anyways, it would be good to have some humor once it was his turn to speak again.

"I wanted to speak with you. I hear you were chosen to become a Jinchuriki recently, correct?" and the point was made! At least this Kage was being honest and approaching him without just blank kindness because he was 'special'. Soshi scratched the back of his head, replying dumbfounded.

"Your not that impressive for a Kage huh? Shouldn't you be more sure of things like that? What about the guy at the tree? Doesn't he give you this kind of information?" Soshi knew he was being a smart-ass, and he loved every second of it. His head turned briefly avoiding the Kage's response to see Asami bowing down to the Mizukage, he chuckled a bit.

"Bet you get a lot done in that position!" it was an obvious joke, but he had yet to upset this girl no matter how hard he tried.

Asami's face lit up a little with a blush of embarrassment, she then looked at Soshi and closed her eyes grinding her teeth together trying to ignore his comment. She was tempted to beat him even worse than Kenji had but she was not going to act out like this in front of the Mizukage. Asami looked at the Mizukage and then back at Soshi trying to see if he actually realized who he was not calling impressive. The Mizukage Riku had legendary jutsu that's origin came from a Founder of the Ninja world, She had learned much about him from the villagers and the academy which is why she was a little nervous at his presence. The grabbed hold of Soshi's shirt as the the began shaking him.
"Are you insane! Do you realize who he is? Who your speaking to?!" She continued shaking him a little more before she stopped holding onto his shoulder and moving to his ear to whisper to him. "That man right there Riku Tensei...The Riku Tensei, His name is legendary among Kages..You better show him respect..The the other guy must be his bodyguard, best not get him upset either."

Soshi became a smart ass quickly, borderline insulting Riku. It irritated him a bit and his mood quickly changed. His face became blank with a slight annoyed expression. He was ready to say something to him when Asami grabbed Soshi and shook him, scolding him for the way he had talked. "I asked you to treat me like any other Kiri ninja and this is how you respond? Kids like you give this village a bad name. Give me one reason I shouldn't kick you out." He grabbed the hilt of the white katana sheathed on his lower back and drew it, bringing the tip to Soshi's throat. "Or maybe this would help drive home the point better." Riku was actually quite shocked at his own actions. Perhaps some of Satoshi's personality had rubbed off on him. As he stared into the boy's eyes with his own glowing bright read, he heard Satoshi laughing to himself behind them.

"Or maybe this would help drive home the point better."

The blade tickled Soshi's skin with killing intent. It was obvious he had been succesful in his attempt to embaress the girl, and it got some kind of sick bonus score catching the Mizukage's eye as well. Soshi looked directly in Riku's eyes for a short duration, and then smirked with his teeth showing.

"So what was it kage? the girl or your insult?" Soshi was loving every minute of this, he could be dead in a moment alas what was the point in living if you never rebelled every now and then. Soshi wanted to see how the Kage would react to his question, leaning his neck in towards the sword slowly to see if he would give.

Jinchuriki were hard to come by after all.

Asami looked at both of them and didn't know what to make of this, He was actually pointing a blade at a Genin. On normal instances this would scare a Genin half to death but in this situation Soshi didn't even seem like he cared that the Mizukage was actually threatening him. Asami grabbed onto Soshi's arm tugging it as though she was asking him to step back so that perhaps she can talk to the Kage instead. It was obvious that everytime Soshi opened his mouth he only made things a lot worse than what it was.

"Riku..Please no need to get this hostile with him, He obviously doesn't know what he's saying and seems to enjoy making a clown out of himself forgive him hehe." Asami chuckled nervously trying to break the tension between the two. If it came down to a battle obviously Soshi didn't stand a chance. Asami glanced back at the body guard wondering if he was going to intervene as well as he seemed like he would not tolerate disrespect to the kage.

Satoshi kept chuckling to himself, watching the smart mouthed Genin. He had no idea what he was getting himself into. Riku stared at the boy, his face calm and intense. Riku could easily kill this Genin and nothing could stop him. No one would even question him, as no one ever had before. "Seems I was wrong. I'm not going to waste my time training a brat like you. I look forward to the day when your Bijuu takes you over." He spun the sword a bit so he was now holding it underhanded and re-sheathed it on his lower back. He got a bit closer to the boy and smirked. "I'll also enjoy killing you when that day comes." He chuckled slightly and looked at Asami, giving her the same nice smile he had given to both of them moments ago. She respected him. She understood what the consequences were for talking like that. Why, at the mere motion of the hand, Riku could have the ANBU summoned and this boy arrested, provided he decided to turn this village into an evil dictatorship.

The instant the blade pulled away Soshi knew he had won. Not to say the kage had lost, attacking Soshi would have only hurt him as the leader of a village, to be threatened by a Genin and respond. Soshi turned to watch Riku smile at Asami and begin to take his leave, but his bodyguard made no movements, Soshi turned his attention to the guard, shouting his words to be heard by the both of them.

"What about you?" His finger raised to a point as he smiled, still grinning.
"Don't you have anything to say?" Soshi liked this quiet man for some reason, they were opposites from what he could tell, but that was the way things enjoyable, it sucked being around people like you. Soshi used his pointing hand to pull back and run through his hair, it bounced back into place for the most part, but it seemed a bit slicker. Soshi forgot for a moment that Asami was there.

Asami placed her face against the palm of her hand, it seemed as though there was no hope for Soshi. He didn't even realize that she was there and said what she said to stop him from provoking anymore trouble. She knew that if he continued doing what he was doing the guard may just be tempted to rough him up some. Asami also knew that since he wasn't in a high position he would most likely not mind fighting a ninja of any rank, after all it was his duty.

Asami tightened her grip of Soshi as she tugged at him harder this time almost jerking his arm out of natural place. She used this aggression to show her frustration with the situation and didn't even bother to say much again to Soshi. She was hoping, that he would be considerate, or in his case smart enough to just let the situation be and leave with her.

[[ It's cool, I probably should've mentioned it, but Satoshi is only recognized as Riku's guard when he has his ANBU mask on, but I'll just say he's had it on this whole time ]]

Soshi turned his attention towards Satoshi, asking if he had anything to say. Satoshi laughed a bit more and stood up straight, getting off the tree he was leaning against. "Not really. It's my job to protect him but all you've done is insult him. I doubt a kid like you would be a problem at all." He laughed again under his expressionless ANBU mask.

Riku turned his attention towards Asami while this all happened. "I wouldn't hang around a kid like this if I were you. Feel free to come by any time." He said to her with a smile at the end. He turned to Soshi, his face straightening. "As for you, when you're done being a smartass and want to know how to better control your Bijuu, come to me." With that, he and Satoshi turned and walked back towards the market district of Kirigakure.

The tug on his arm caused Soshi to turn, Asami had been trying to get him to shut-up for some time now, but he just wasn't the type. He gave her a smile and turned back just in time to see Satoshi passing by, saying his farewells and following the Kage. 'Bunch of Riffraff' Soshi thought to himself. Placing his opposite hand on Asami's wrist he spoke.

"It's okay, you can let go now, the boogeymen are all gone" his tone still hinted at sarcasm, but you could tell it was just Soshi trying to lighten the mood and wasn't an insult, or wasn't meant to be at least. Soshi's relaxed mood sifted out of him like an aura, he didn't care much for anything, and anything didn't care much for Soshi, that's the way it had always been.
