| The guards positioned at the Gates of Sunagkure observed in the distance a traveling boy, as naturally trained by the predecessors of their role, the only two guards instantly took a rather defensive stance as the boy drew ever more closer to their home. "Halt!" calls one of the guards as he extends his hand to tell him to yield in his pace. His partner slowly surely advanced to his side as he added, "What business do you have here?". Both the guards lowered their stances from a battle position expecting to hear the boy out first instead of blindly rushing him. By the looks of his headband he was from Konohagakure and he seemed to be not much more than a simple Genin.
Their attention shortly shifted to the parcel that the boy carried, and instantly they were aware of what it was. Lord Shozuku -as he was addressed by villagers- was indeed suppose to receive something, according to the Intel, it may have been best for them not to delay this boy. "Hido..stand down.." the first guard told his partner as his comrade respected and followed through with the request. ''..This is the hidden leaf Genin, I believe that he has something for Lord Shozuku, take him there.", His partner looked at him with a baffled expression, surely he was not serious? This was an outsider and from the Hidden Leaf no less. No matter what level of Ninja this boy was he was still to be considered a potential threat. Hido felt the urge to question why his comrade would say such a thing, but considering that it was Lord Shozuku that he was instructed to take the boy to, it wouldn't actually matter as the villagers-like Hido- had strong faith in their Kazekage's strength.
Nodding Hido looked at the boy and turned around leading him into the village. "Stay close boy...Whatever mission you have that brought you here, just remember if your sight becomes unpleasant to the villagers here..Consequences will be dire". The guard lead him all the way to the Kazekage's manor and backed up a bit almost as though he was in fear of advancing any further. "Here..T-This is your destination, Lord Shozuku awaits beyond these walls.", at that very moment, almost as though instantly reacting on the suppressed fear of the guard, the doors to the manor opened and the Leader of the village hidden in the Sand stood. His cold Ghostly Blue eyes descended on the boy almost as though he was waiting for him. It did not take long before a smile graced the face of Joichiro who took his time stepping out from the darkness of the doorway into the presence of his this messenger from the leaf.
The guard who was in great panic turned and slowly tried to run back to his post before he was halted by the word "Stop!". Joichiro's voice gripped the soul of all who heard it like death itself, the guard fell to his knees sweating in fear of his leader. Joichiro laughed at the sight, he moved directly in front of the boy before turning to the guard which signaled two ANBU soldiers to appear and carry the guard -kicking and screaming- back into the manor. As the doors closed behind them Joichiro spoke again with the same voice of fear, "So you've made it..And I see that Shigeyasu's boy didn't damage my parcel.", Joichiro smirked a devilish smirk taunting the boy on his recent encounter with the would be assassin. He knew all about the battle even down to the freakish power spawned from the boy, it was for this very reason that Joichiro personally took the time to come to greet him. "Now..What could our old friend..Konoha send to me, that was so important that the Lord of Roaring Thunder needed to let his baby rat attempt to keep from me?", Joichiro smirked once more looking at the boy and extended his hand waiting for the document to be passed to him.

| Raiden didn't know quite what to make of Lord Joichiro. But at least he wasn't attacking him. He extends his hand with the parcel toward the Kazekage, and hoped dearly that it wasn't an execution order. After placing the parcel in his outstretched hand, he draws his hand back to his side and stands at attention, lest their be anything to return by paper or by mouth. | |

| Joichiro carefully analyzed the parcel containing the wish of peace from the Hokage. He scoffed a little before closing it off and placing the piece into his pocket, it was not a sign that he particularly was going to deny the wish for peace from the Hokage but rather, prolong the peace for now until deemed otherwise. After all this was what many of the villager wanted, Joichiro personally did not care if peace was what the villages sought after all, to him it was all a matter of principal. What good was a shinobi if the jutsu are not capable of being used against one another to determine power. "Hmph..Very well, Your mission is done here...Begone now.." Joichiro spoke his voice almost sounding irritated with the fact that this boy came to him seeking peace.
It was just at the moment that Joichiro turned to return to his quarters that he remembered the fight, the power unleashed by the boy. It was not of the norm, in fact it was supernatural powers granted only to those host to the tailed beast. Joichio's face lit with a dark smile as he though to himself for a moment, indeed the mission was peace but...Exactly what could trigger battle between them after so long? They sent their Jinchuriki out on a mission of this caliber alone, surely they were wise enough to know that he Is a Jinchuriki. Were they not concerned for his safety? Or did they not care? Perhaps it may have been to show their trust, perhaps not..But to Joichiro, allowing power like this to leave without doing something about it would be a shame.
"I wonder...How upset would they be..If they lost their Jinchuriki hehe-" Joichiro chuckled while walking forward a bit before he vanished. In an instant he appeared behind the young boy smiling a dark smile, the type of smile he only gained when he felt that urge...The urge..to experiment. "Lord Shozuku!" called a member of the staff within the building who at that moment manged to catch a glimpse of what Joichiro was about to do. He ran with full speed dashing past the young boy appearing behind his leader taking firm hold of his wrist. In seconds a flash of sound blasted from the body of Joichiro flinging the man against a nearby wall. Before he was able to regain himself, his movement was forever silenced by a kunai which lodged itself in his throat. Joichiro lowered his hand from throwing the blade and began a sick chuckling, he reached into his pocket taking hold of his dearest knife. "Fear..." Joichiro's voice entered a near mummified state as his words were made unclear and almost like he was being stifled he continued, "..The sight of it makes everything all the better..I want to see yours".
The ground below their feet slowly began filling with a rising miasma that remained subtle yet visible to the naked eye. Nothing of extreme grandeur, at least not yet, but it did give Joichiro the setting he required to begin the fear. Slowly the background of the area began fading into a miasma, it was beginning to pick up so quickly that one looking from within it's confines would not know their whereabouts for the mere sight of the doorway became as hard to see as the furthest star. Joichiro's laughter began to cover the area almost like a quilt suppressing the fear within the miasma, with a dark smile once more, slowly Joichiro made himself fade away into the mist.

| Raiden was scared. Normally when someone was going to hurt him he would buck up and hold out until they were done, but this man, Lord Shozuku, Raiden had a feeling he really wouldn't like what he was going to do. As soon as he was gone, he ran over to the man that had saved him and checked his pulse. He was dead. Lowering his head in a small prayer, he got up and returned the way he came. The villagers weren't happy with him being there, but it couldn't be helped. He unsealed his rock staff after having sealed it so the guards didn't question his reason for being. Grasping his support, he starts the long journey back to Konoha. This was going to take a while. | |

| Raiden ran through the desert, his spear in hand. He would use it when he got tired. Luckily for him he only needed a few hours of sleep and he would be right as rain. He kept on running through the desert.
The sun started to sink into the sands to the west, and Raiden knew that the day was coming to an end. He kept running through the dunes, looking forward at the horizon, knowing that the forest was just beyond it. He couldn't wait to be back amongst the trees. And when he gets back he will start training his summoning skills. It would be nice to be able to see Satoru again. That lovable owl, he wondered how he was doing. After all, they haven't seen each other since Minoru died.
The sun was fading fast, and he wasn't going to last much longer without food, so he looked around as he ran until he came across something that he hadn't seen on the way to Suna: the oasis. Running up to it he set down his staff and knelt in front of the pool at its center. Drinking in the fresh water that has saved many lives in their journey through the great white expanse.
He unseals some food from his storage scroll and started eating. Once he finished, he burped contentedly and leaned back against a tree and fell asleep.

| The sun's rays pierced through the thin veil of trees landing on the young Jinchuuriki's sleeping face. Raiden's face scrunched up and he squirmed about saying, "No Minoru, five more minutes." Five minutes later he woke up and stretched. After having a light breakfast, he grabbed his things and set out into the desert once again. Raiden ran for hours on end until eventually the treeline came into view. Sighing in relief he picked up the pace and sprinted the rest of the way to the border. Once he arrived he showed the guards his papers and they let him thru. With a bow he continued on his way.
As soon as he was out of earshot the guards at the tower looked at each other. A man with a scar piercing his right eye scowled. "Damn demon, probably thinks he's better than us. Probably waiting for the chance to strike." Another man with a senbon in his mouth whacked the first guy on the back of the head. "Shut up Uzer, that kid is one of the humblest people I know. Did you even see that fight a couple nights ago? I mean, come on. And besides, if he was waiting, why wouldn't he have just let that enemy ninja take his package? That would have been a great excuse to get back at the village. Not that he has any reason to, other than fools like you." Uzer scowled again, rubbing the back of his head, "I'm telling you, it would be better for all of us if that thing died."
Raiden, unaware of the conversation going on behind him, continued running back toward home. He would run all thru the night to get back to his home.

| The sun had set a long time ago, and the village was coming into view. He gave a sigh of relief. Soon, he would be back in his own bed drinking a nice hot cup of tea falling asleep with every heartbeat. Ah, the wonders of a bed.
Raiden came up to the gates, slowing down as he made his way to the guards. He walked up to them and handed them his papers to verify it was him after they demanded he prove who he said he was, when it was kind-of obvious, and besides, who wants to impersonate a Jinchuuriki? Bad question to ask as a kid dressed up in an orange jumpsuit with spiky blond hair walked by.
Shaking his head he continued on his way to the Hokage tower, eager to report a successful mission.
