Using lightning elemental chakra the user is able to create an electric barrier around themselves and comrades if needed. The barrier defends against all oncoming ninjutsu attacks and any taijutsu that comes into contact with the barrier will cost it's user a dreadful shock. The barrier is used to protect oneself and also for stalling in order to prepare a more powerful ninjutsu, the barrier however will not protect the user against genjutsu and will instantly be dispelled if any other jutsu use successfully used by the user. A skilled shinobi would use this technique to prepare any technique that may require time to use, medical ninja would use this technique in battle to heal injured allies without fear of enemy attackers. Once the electric barrier has weakened it takes time for it to recharge (4 posts maximum). The chakra used in the barrier's creation however is minimal.

This technique allows the user to make a shadow clone infused with lightning after performing the respective hand seals. Because it is a shadow clone, it is able to perform jutsu and interact with the environment due to it having physical substance. If the clone is injured, it will revert to its natural lightning-state, at the same time electrocuting whatever it is touching.

This legendary fighting style created by the Hatakeyama family of Kumogakure, is a brutal fighting art that brings about the very fury of nature. The technique called Fist of the Storm God was created as a support technique followed by a few disciplined Martial art attacks in which the primary founding of this style is required. The Technique itself can only be learned by people born with the natural chakra the Lightning Release. Once activated the chakra within becomes constantly active causing in a Raiton template a light electrical field around the body of the user. The electric of the field is intensified with the emotion of the user and will display more electricity the tenser the situation. The style is able to be used to stimulate the nerve cells in the body causing a fast reaction time which in turn amplifies the attacking speed, movement capabilities and precision of the user (Strength however is not effected).With this released restraint on the nerves a fighter is able to deliver simultaneous punches and kicks with rapid motion and deadly accuracy. The reaction time to the user of this technique is also enhanced allowing them to dodge at a high speed faster than a the human brain is able to process making them appear to be teleporting and reappearing in the same spot almost instantly, sparks of lightning around the reappeared body being the only prove of their movement. Even in movement, the user is able to dash to far distances within a fighting zone in seconds leaving afterimage trails sparked by electric in their wake. Due to this advantage it is unclear to almost all opponents on how their attacks were avoided, it allows the user of this technique to be unpredictable and swift like a storm.

After coming into physical contact with the opponent, the user raises their arm into the air, generating a powerful bolt of electricity which will travel through their body into the body of the opponent. The user and opponent both take damage by the generated electricity (Raiton users are not effected at all) although damage to the user is minimal. As long as the contact is made with the opponent they will continuously be electrocuted.

A very powerful eight strike combination of attacks that show the true power behind the Fist of Storm God style. The user to perform this technique will engulf him/herself with a strong array of lightning chakra that covered the entire body's visibility, through this the speed granted by the Storm God technique is amplified by 40% insuring movement beyond natural limits (Almost similar to Gate of Life-生門, Seimon in matching speed.). The user appears as a pure entity of lightning momentarily in which they will move at a great speed, towards sending a destructive upper body combination attack. The technique will start with 4 punches to the chest in which the electric generated by the Storm God technique will seep through the opponents body cells and into the flesh reacting to the force of impact, thus damaging the Scapula, Sternum, Left and Right Lung. The combo will then continue with 2 more punches this time to the lower abdomen followed by an elbow to the spleen. In this the electric will double moving throughout the Spleen, to the Stomach, all Epiploic Appendices, then back up to the liver. The user will then finally silence the opponent with a palm strike to the chest which if the user is skilled enough will internally shatter the ribcage sending a pulse of lightning through the body of their opponent into the heart. The electrical reaction of the attack will malfunction the natural action of the heart therefore shutting it down, which would bring death to an enemy if connected properly. Upon the final strike, instantly the lightning coating of the user will vanish in a bursting stream motion sending little sparks of electricity around the ground that the two stand. Because of the speed behind this attack there is a brief 4 second time lag before the technique takes effect. When the technique registers the opponent will be sent flying back from the palm of the user into the nearest stationary item spewing a great amount of blood from their mouth originated from deep within their body. If the user is not skilled enough to stop the heartbeat and instantly kill the enemy, the opponent will become immobilized due to severe internal damage. Because of the speed within each attack there is a moment pause (1 post) in which the technique needs in order to proceed with the following attacks, this is a way to insure less damage to the user's natural body. The technique is broken into three parts meaning 3 posts in order to complete, the techniques go in order :4 strike combo (first post) → 3 strike combo (Second Post) → Final Palm strike (Third Post). Upon the third the lightning entity Shinobi returns to normal, and only Taijutsu Specialist/S-Ranked Shinobi are able to kill on the final blow.

Raiton: Gian - Lightning Release: False Darkness

Once the user performs the required hand seals the technique allows them to emit a lightning in the shape of a spear from his/her mouth, which then pierces the enemy. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock, meaning it has a high killing potential. The user can increase the number of spears to attack multiple enemies. This makes it nearly impossible to evade.

Kokuangyou no Jutsu - Bringer Of Darkness

By using an strong amount of chakra a user of this technique is able to create a wall of darkness ranging from 50 meters around their opponent. While the darkness is in effect the caster remains undetectable by their opponents and all outside of the wall. The jutsu will last at a maximum 3 posts and will instantly dispel after the third post of it's usage. Shinobi are able to use their presence concealment to perform techniques that may need time to prepare.

This technique when the respective hand seals are performed makes a gigantic rampart rise up beneath the user's feet, by shaping the ground and increasing the amount of earth with chakra. Depending on what the user imagines, the shape of the rampart can be anything from level ground to a steep, needle-like mountain. If the user increases the volume of earth too much, he/She can be forced to keep his chakra consumption down.

This technique is one that utilizes the speed granted by the Fist of the Storm God technique. In order for this attack to be performed the user will dash towards their target in a zig zag motion. Being that they have entered the Storm God fighting state, they will leave a stream of images that will temporarily confuse an opponent not knowing where the exact position of the user is at the moment. The images will move closer and closer towards the opponent when the user of the technique will appear behind them already elevated from the ground spinning in a 360 motion. Because of this speed and rotation the user is able to perform a high thrust kick to the jaw of their opponents lifting them off the ground due to impact. The user takes a step back and dashes almost like an upwards jump disappearing leaving no afterimages this time. In speed they reappear as though charging from the right side send and punch or palm strike, the motion is repeated again from the left side, with each strike a stream of lightning is left in the air as proof of their movement. Finally the user appears above their target ,who is still suspended in the air due to the aerial assault, descending with a stomp into their target's face from their left leg sending the two crashing to the ground. The user will not remove their foot from their target's face until the crash landing is successful, in which case will leave an opponent unconscious and sparking with light electric from the crash.

Arashi no kami tenohira 嵐の神手の平 - Storm Deity Palm

A relatively simple attack which in which the user starts with an intimidating stomping tai-chi motion, used to intimidate the opponent. In this motion the user will spark with a few volts of electricity in which would also be used in the ruse to get under their opponent's skin, if not to scare them, then make them expect a strong oncoming attack. The attack begins with the user making a swift, high leap vanishing from sight once performed and instantly appearing in front of the opponent with a flying side kick. The force of the side kick would be great enough that it would seem they had momentum for quite some time, thus the kick would send them flying back, the user then uses the speed (still followed by their afterimages) to run along the side of their opponent while they are still in a pitch. Because of the Storm God's enhanced speed they would be able to easily run along with the force of their own strike, while still keeping up with their opponent the user will deliver a strong descending palm strike to the chest of the opponent stopping their movement in mid air slamming them to the floor. A skilled Taijutsu user would be able to stop a person's heartbeat if used with backed up support techniques.

Doton: Doryūsō - Earth Release: Rising Stone Spears

A jutsu that destroys/cancels out an illusionary jutsu attempted on the user that is/may be 2 or more ranks weaker than the jutsu used. Only Shinobi with strong chakra control can perform. The user releases a large amount of chakra then quickly halts it. The Genjutsu is dispelled instantly if the user is any rank above the jutsu used. In cases of Kekkei Genkai Genjutsu it may differ depending on the rank of the user to the rank of the Genjutsu.

A technique that shows mastery of a fighting elegance. The user will draw their blade and rush in high speed motion making used of the Afterimages to perform a standing horizontal strike coming from the right, seeming to be an aim for decapitation. The techniques brilliance lies in this deceptive move however, as the user would use great stealth and speed to halt their strike in mid motion and then duck to one knee. Because the afterimages produced in the Storm God style seem to be so clear that they look real, even a skilled shinobi could be fooled by this technique. The opponent would be believing that their opponent's great speed caused a death for them, but the blade of the sword would phase right through their neck revealing the illusion shortly before the afterimage fades. The user of the technique already kneeling down, will then swiftly send a horizontal swipe coming from the left across the abdomen of their adversary. By the time an opponent could realize what happened it may just be too late.


Nise no shuugeki tekunikku 偽の襲撃テクニック - False Assault Technique

A true work of art displayed by a user of the Storm God art, one so elegant that many have mistaken this technique as a genjutsu. The user would use their intense speed moving in a motion impossible for the brain to process, using this speed the user will dash to their target performing a series of would be assassination attacks before returning to their original position with their arms crossed. Since their speed was beyond that of the processing time of a brain the opponent will see no movement from their original standing position. The Storm God's afterimages however, still trying to keep up with the speed of their user will display all assassination attempts, each image vanishing slowly as they would make contact. This technique occurs all in one second, so someone looking at this would see it only as a second hand Taijutsu illusion caused by great speed. This technique is mainly used as a taunt and will no damage whatsoever to the opponent, but can however be used to fool the enemy into believing that speed of the user is far beyond that of any possible ninja thus this technique strike fear into any that see it.

This techniques allows the user to absorb the chakra of their target by creating a visible receding chakra wave around their hand. The absorption is only possible through physical contact with the enemy by placing his/her hand upon the head of the opponent. The user will absorb small but useful portions of the opponents chakra as long as the contact is made. This may gradually tend to weaken weaker Shinobi.
