| Name: Riku Tensei Alias: Shark of The Mist/Mizukage Age: 19 Gender: Male Height: 6' 1" Weight: 145 lbs Appearance: Riku's face is usually calm and blank, showing no emotion. His skin is very pale. He wears a long white cloak that buttons in the front and splits open at the waist. The ends part and go down to his feet and are ripped at the bottom. Around his waist over the coat he wears a thick black belt that splits off into two smaller straps on the left side. The sleeves of his jacket look as if he pulled black arm warmers over it but are actually a part of the jacket. They go from his hands to halfway up his upper arm. They cover the backs of his hands but leave his palms open. 2 small belt like straps wrap around the forearms. He also wears silver wristbands. His pants are a matching white color and are plain. Race: Japanese Hair: His hair is a silvery white color. The bangs go past his eyes and are parted messily to the right but always seem to move perfectly to show his eyes. The sides are a bit longer, going down to his jawline. The back long though and goes down to about mid back. Eyes: The Sclera (white part) of his eyes are black rather than white. The iris are a deep neon blue, but turn a glowing neon red when his Doujutsu is activated. He wears very thin black eyeliner around his eyes to accent Body: Slim Ethnicity: Mizu no Kuni Personality: Riku is a calm and collective person. He doesn't speak often, though when he does it is well thought out and intelligent. He is not rude, though does not take kindly to people he doesn't know. He has trouble trusting people and only lets a select few close to him. He is strong willed and confident in his own abilities. When greeted with friends or someone he does not mind, a bright smile can be found lighting his face. At all other times, his face is an emotionless stare. - Name: Demon of the Mist
Requirements: Kirigakure Shinobi/Admin Permission Description: The Demon of the Mist is an ability that is not noticeable at first, but will instill fear into the hearts of all who see it once they realize what is happening. Being in Kirigakure and constantly with mist, some people have trained in this mist, learning the techniques of the legendary assassin Zabuza himself. Through hard training, they have managed to become like Zabuza. The mist will now completely cover them up, making them totally undetectable while within mist. Any bloodline or Kinjutsu sensing abilities may find the user of this SA, though their range will be limited to about 5 feet away.
- Name: Suika no Jutsu (Hydration Technique)
Requirements: Admin Permission Description: This special ability allows the shinobi to completely turn their body into water, or rather it turns the body into water although it normally appears as common human body. This allows them to avoid taking damage from most kinds of attacks by having the weapons/jutsu pass through their liquid body, even though they lose some chakra for doing so (the more their form is distorted, the more chakra they lose). They can also slightly alter their build, like forming additional muscles, and merge with existing bodies of water to control them. While very powerful, this ability requires the user to drink a lot or they not only become unable to utilize this ability, but may also die of dehydration and evaporate completely. In liquid form, they have a limited ability of movement in order to come together if blown apart. This technique does not provide protection against lightning-based ninjutsu and actually makes the user more vulnerable to them.
- Name: Kansui no Mune (Flooding Rain At Will)
Requirements: Ukojizai no Jutsu (Fierce Raining At Will), my permission, and 6 point training/Mizukage only Description: An upgraded version of the Ukojizai no Jutsu (Fierce Raining At Will) special ability.
Background/History: Kansui no Mune (Flooding Rain at Will) is a rare and powerful ability that extremely few have and was rumored to have been removed from the Ninja World many years ago. The complete history of this ability is unknown, but only those that have been seen with the ability of Ukojizai no Jutsu (Fierce Raining at Will) have been able to at least. The last person to be known of having this ability was rumored to have helped create the Ninja World at the beginning of time. However in a fight with the others that were helping create the world, he unleashed his ability and flooded a portion of the Ninja World which helped create the Water Country. Ever since then, this cursed ability has been all, but forgotten by the Ninja World.
Activation: Usually this ability is activated after feeling a strong emotion such as witnessing a close ones death, having an extremely near death experience, or even (under rare conditions) getting an overwhelming feeling of joy and pride which was how the first Shinobi to have this ability gained it through feeling proud of helping create the Ninja World.
After awakening the ability, the user would have to undergo some extreme training with someone else with the ability, or undergo even harsher training by themselves. Since not too many people have this ability, the user would often go solo and more than likely wear themselves out before mastering the ability.
Abilities: It would enhance detection abilities by letting the user not only detect someone within the rain as when they had Ukojizai no Jutsu (Fierce Raining at Will), but also pinpoint their location. As it enhances that ability, it also can be used as a water source for water Justus depending on the rank of the user. When the max jutsus are used, then the water source can no longer be used and the ability must be activated again. Also.... as its name suggests, the user will be able to create floods with this ability. However, the user must be strong enough to create them and therefore, only certain people with this ability can cause floods. C-A ranks will cause minor floods, but S will cause major flooding. They achieve the floods as so: C Rank: Enough to flood a few blocks - up to a max of 2-3 inches of constant, non stop rain B Rank: Enough to flood a small city - up to a max of 6-9 inches of constant, non stop rain A Rank: Enough to flood a a fourth of a major village- up to a max of 10-12 inches of constant, non stop rain S Rank: Enough to flood a half of a Major Village - up to a max of 4-5 feet of constant, non stop rain
DownsideWith this power, the user will loose some of their chakra with each usage. The drainage depends on how strong the user is and therefore how much they loose. - Name: Tasukeru (Seeing Life)
Requirements: Member of Onigami clan. Description: Allows a full three hundred and sixty (360) degree field of vision and some predictability to physical attacks. Unlike Byakugan, the user sees life in its normal colors during this tech, no details spared. Signs of life, thermal readings and X Ray vision is near perfect. Can also read a determine the difference of a regular shinobi to that of one with a bloodline or if they house any foreign presence by the different chakra waves displayed when observed through Tasukeru. This does not mean one knows the BL right away. Must have encountered the BL before in order to know exactly who they are. Onigami are born with this doujutsu and the strength/skill of the shinobi determines the distance one can see.

- Name: Shinkaku (Divinity)
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: Must be part of Onigami BL. Description: Whenever too much physical pain is inflicted upon the Onigami, an instinctual technique kicks in to use this jutsu, the Shinkaku, covering the user in a thick, invisible layer of their powerful chakra, successfully repealing most attacks. A fight or flight jutsu emerging when danger is high, this jutsu should be used only as a last resort, for the chakra toll his grand. This jutsu coats the user in a thick layer of their own wondrous chakra, successfully allowing them to cut the damage of all attacks 2 ranks lower than them in half for the next five turns. Jutsu one rank lower and up will do normal damage. Doujutsu cannot see the shield unless it's been hit by an S ranked technique.
- Name: Superb Camouflage
Type: Genjutsu Rank: B Requirements: Must be apart of Onigami BL. Must know Yasha Gensou (Demonic Illusions) "B" Rank. Description: The user forms the needed handseals and immediately after that a chakra field is formed around the user which covers and hides them. This field not only hides their appearance fooling everything that the user is not longer there but hides their smell and every part of them except for their body (which at this moment is invisible). So even if someone or something passes next the user they will not even notice them unless they touch the user. The only thing that can spot the user is a doujutsu that can see chakra, such as Sharingan or Byakugan. This jutsu lasts up to 2 rounds, any extra round takes a C Ranked amount of Chakra.
- Name: Hyper Camouflage
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B Requirements: Must be part of Onigami BL. Must know Superb Camouflage. Description: Â The user expands their chakra around themselves in a whole new level and by using the same concept as Superb Camouflage the user no longer hides themselves but changes their appearance, but not only that is changed but their smell, taste, voice, etc... This type of "Henge" cannot be canceled by any Doujutsu due to the fact of using real chakra system to foll not only the eyes but any other sense as well. This can last up to 5 turns, every extra turns uses a C Ranked Chakra amount.

- Name: Shunpo (Flash Step)
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A-Rank Requirements: Taught by someone who knows Shunpo/Spirit of The Sword Description: The Flash Step is similar to Shunshin, but is performed in a different way. The user stores chakra and uses it in a quick burst in their legs, causing them to move a great distance in very few steps and with a short amount of time.The user moves faster than an opponent's eye can see, even faster than the Sharingan could see. The Shunpo is five times faster than the already fast Shunshin and therefore requires someone else who has mastered this technique to teach it.
- Name: Utsusemi
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Requirements: Shunpo/Taight by someone who knows Utsusemi/Spirit of The Sword Description: Utsusemi is similar to shunpo other than the fact that it is twice as fast as shunpo and leaves an after image of the user for a few seconds, tricking anyone nearby. Only people with chakra sensing doujutsu can tell the after image is fake, though they are still unable to see where the user went, as they move to fast.
- Name: Senka
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S-rank Requirements: Shunpo/Taught by someone who knows Senka/Spirit of The Sword Description: The user uses a normal shunpo and then stops behind the desired target. They charge their sword with chakra and slice their target on the back of the neck where the spine meets the neck. This strike isn't meant to harm or kill, but rather completely seal off the target's chakra system, not allowing them to use chakra based techniques for 3 posts.
- Name: Genjutsu Break
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: Genjutsu or Ijutsu Master at C/A rank; Genjutsu, Ijutsu or Ninjutsu Primary at B/S rank; Any at A/SS rank Description: This is an advanced skill for breaking genjutsu, however, no shinobi should be without it. It allows one to break illusions without hurting themselves, does not require any hand seals and works against stronger techniques than Kai. Since every genjutsu in essence is the opponent confusing one's five senses by interfering with their chakra flow in a specific way, momentarily stopping your chakra flow completely and then reversing it, which is what this skill is about, can break theoretically any illusion. Naturally, one's skill in controlling their chakra determines how well this will work. Allows one to break a genjutsu of S rank or below. For the lower rank characters, genjutsu of A rank or below take one whole post to break, while genjutsu of S rank take two posts. For higher rank characters, genjutsu of A and S rank take a whole post to break, while genjutsu of B rank and below take half a post. Kinjutsu genjutsu require twice as much time, though only higher rank characters can break A rank kinjutsu, and none can break S rank kinjutsu.
- Name: Instilling Fear
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Requirements: Spirit of The Sword/Taught by someone who knows this technique Description: This jutsu is created by utilizing the pressure and density of one's chakra. This attack has a 360 degree range of attack, hitting anyone in the area. For some unknown reason, this jutsu does not affect allies. This might be due to the fact that they do not see the user as a threat, therefore the chakra softens itself near them. The density of the user's chakra makes their foes feel much weaker than they truly are and feel as though they are unable to win. People of the same rank as the user get a 15% decrease to strength. 1 rank lower feels a 50% decrease and 2 ranks lower and down are unable to bring themselves to fight, no matter how confident they truly are in themselves.
- Name: Stunning Pressure
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Requirements: Spirit of The Sword/Taught by someone who knows this technique Description: This jutsu is utilized by the same methods as Instilling fear, thus giving it the same activation method, range, and effect on allies. Instead of inflicting fear on the opponents, this jutsu has more of a stunning effect as the name suggests. People of the same ranks as the user feel a 15% decrease to speed, 1 rank lower feels a 50% decrease, and 2 ranks lower and down are unable to stand within 20 feet of the user.
- Name: Pressure Paralysis
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Requirements: Spirit of The Sword/Taught by someone who knows this technique Description: The user focuses their chakra's pressure and releases it in the form of a stare at one opponent. Rather than the chakra affecting them, it is the pressure of their chakra that affects the target. People equal rank to the user will be stunned for one post, 1 rank lower for 2 posts and anything lower for 3. Since the chakra is released in a stare and it is the density rather than actual chakra, it is very hard to predict what is coming or when it is coming, even for chakra sensing doujutsu thus making it nearly impossible to dodge unless the target has seen the jutsu used before.
- Name: Phantom Pain
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B-rank Requirements: Spirit of The Sword/Taught by someone who knows this technique Description: The density of the user's chakra is so strong that they can cause a phantom pain to anyone nearby. This may seem like a Genjutsu but is considered Ninjutsu because of the way chakra is used. They can cause anyone in the area to feel pain as if a sword is stabbing through their neck, chest, and gut. 2 ranks lower than the user and down are unable to bear this pain and cannot bring themselves to attack.
- Name: Pressured Skin
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A-rank Requirements: Spirit of The Sword/Taught by someone who knows this technique Description: The user takes the density of their chakra and pulls it into their body, leaving it in a thick layer in the skin. This allows the user to take damage as if the attacks were two ranks lower (kin is only lowered by one rank)

Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S-ranked Requirements: Spirit of The Sword/Taught by someone who knows this technique Description: Focusing chakra, the user can strengthen the density of their chakra to a point so strong that they can cut anything within 50 feet of them several times, causing several shallow but painful wounds.

Type: Ninjutsu Rank: D/C/B/A/S Requirements: Hyouton Description: A crucial Jutsu for the Hyouton ; it allows the use to blow out snow by forming water Chakra in their throat. This is used for setting up future Jutsus when there is no source of Ice in the area. The amount created depends on the user.

- Name: Hyouton Makyou Hyoushou (Ice Release Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors)
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B Requirements: Hyouton, water source. Description: Makyou Hyoushou is a Ninjutsu technique unique to the Hyouton bloodline. After forming the necessary hand seals, nearby water forms long flat mirrors 360 degrees around the target. They then places themselves inside one of the mirrors. Once inside the mirror, they can then using the mirror reflections to confuse his target. Utilizing the reflections, they can then almost instantaneously move from one mirror to the other. Due to the speed, their target will appear to be moving in slow motion. Because of this they can then unleash numerous needles into their opponent with little difficulty. Keep in mind, this Jutsu can only be used for a certain number of posts.

Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: Hyouton, large water source. Description: Hyouton Itsukaku Hakuegei is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, a gigantic horned white whale made of ice will rise from the surrounding snow to come thundering down on an opponent, crushing them and the surrounding area under its large mass. However, even if this fails; once the whale has struck the ground, it will shatter, covering a large area with Ice for future attacks.
- Name: Hyouton Rouga Nadare no Jutsu (Ice Release Wolf Fang Avalanche Technique
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: Hyouton, large ice source. Description: Hyouton Rouga Nadare is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, an avalanche of snow will rain down towards the user's opponent. As the snow slides down, it will coalesce into large snow wolves. These wolves can follow the user's bidding and attack their opponent. A sufficiently powerful straight thrust can disrupt the wolves and return them to snow.
- Name: Hyouton Kokuryuu Boufuusetsu (Ice Release Black Dragon Blizzard)
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S Requirements: Hyouton, large amount of Chakra, S-rank Description: Hyouton Kokuryuu Boufuusetsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, the user will thrust their arm to send out a black ether-like dragon to strike his opponent. As it flies through the air it will begin to turn, when it hits the target it will use its motion to launch the opponent high into the air.
- Name: Hyouton Souryuu Boufuusetsu (Ice Release Twin Dragon Blizzard)
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S (Kinjutsu) Requirements: Hyouton , large amount of Chakra, "Kokuryuu Boufuusetsu", S-rank Description: Hyouton Souryuu Boufuusetsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, the user will thrust their arms to send out twin black ether-like dragons to strike his opponent. As they fly through the air they will begin to turn, creating a large dark tornado. Upon doing so, the tornado will suck up anything in its path, anything liftable within 50 feet.
- Name: Ice Mist jutsu
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Requirements: Hyouton, source or ice/ water Description: This Jutsu acts much like Hidden Mist Jutsu, but instead of creating a mist to block vision, the user creates something to the effect of a contained blizzard, although the snow does not move. The user, to initiate it after performing the needed handsigns, will stomp their foot onto the used ice or water. Due to the bigger nature of the snow particles to the water particles, vision is decreased by even more than with Hidden Mist Jutsu.
- Name: Hyou Bunshin no Jutsu (Ice Clone Technique)
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: Hyouton, at least a medium supply of water Description: This is a highly-advanced version of the original Bunshin Jutsu. It requires one to have the Hyouton (Ice) Bloodline, and at least a medium supply of water in order to use. Using the Ram Handsign, the user concentrates their Chakra to mold a Clone of themself made completely of ice. Because it's made up of ice, it's very hard to destroy by normal means. These clones are very strong and are almost as hard to take down as the original user. This jutsu is one of the few that can travel freely.
- Name: Ice Shield
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: Hyouton, source of Ice/water Description: This Jutsu creates a shield of ice around the user in a dome shape. This will stop any Taijutsu attacks of lower than A-rank and Ninjutsu of A-rank or lower, unless it is a fire-type Jutsu. This shield will only stop B-Rank fire Jutsu and lower, otherwise the shield will melt. Also, this shield blocks most sound from getting through, and breaks eye contact, so many Genjutsu will not work either. This will last for as long as it is not broken, though the user can cancel the shield at any time, in which case it'll appear to crumble. It is only big enough for two people to fit in, and a grown man will have to crouch to fit in it. Also, the user can determine how much of the dome is made as well. Also, the user cannot see anything going on outside unless they have a Jutsu that allows them otherwise, and not hearing can go both ways. The earth underneath is just as vulnerable as it would be normally.
- Name: Ice Shield Explosion
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: Hyouton, Ice Shield Description: This Jutsu requires an Ice Shield to have been made. Once the user has the ice shield created, several handsigns are needed, and the shield will begin to make cracks, but won't crumble. A moment later, the pieces will shoot off of the shield in sharpened chunks capable of cutting into skin at a medium depth. This Jutsu can also spread ice around to be used for more Jutsu once more.

- Suiton: Suikoudan no Jutsu - Water Shark Projectile Technique
Type:Ninjutsu Rank:B Requirements:A large body of water or double amount of chakra used Description:After the user makes the necessary hand seals, a large stream of water shaped like a shark will rise and can then be controlled to some extent, namely launching it at a target and partially controlling its path. This technique deals considerable damage and washes away the enemy, but requires a high amount of water to be present to be used. Alternatively, the user can create water on the spot, but that costs much more chakra.
- Name:Suiton: Mizu Kamikiri - Rising Water Cutter
Type:Ninjutsu Rank:A Requirements:Water as first element Description:This water-based ninjutsu does not require any hand seals to be used. The user will slam their foot or fist into the ground and cause water to rise up, even if they are in an area with no natural water. The user can then launch jets of water, which can be controlled by the movement of one's hands and have enough power to cut through rock, from that position. Controlling the water constantly takes away a bit of chakra, and the user will have to perform the technique again if they change position
- Name: Double Water Snake Technique
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S Requirements: Suiton First Element Description: After preforming the necessary hand seals, the user will extend their arm out toward their target. Almost immediately after, water will form on two opposites point at the top of there arm. The water will turn into two jets that spiral fiercely around the user´s arm, building up speed and momentum and size. Finally, once the jets reach the end of the arm, they will shoot off and take the form of two snakes. The snake´s will spin and smash into what ever was in front of the user.
- Name: Suiton: Suiryuuben - Water Dragon Whip
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S Requirements: Water as first element Description: This jutsu does not require any hand seals. The user will generate a large whirling sphere of water and have it float, usually somewhere close to them. It can be controlled rather freely to be used as defense and water tendrils, which have high piercing power and can bust through rock, can be released from it for offense. Only someone with a close affinity to water may hope to use this jutsu.
- Name: Suiton: Goshokuzame - Five Sharks Eating
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B Requirements: A large body of water Description: A technique somewhat reminiscent of summoning jutsu, but different in principle. After forming necessary hand seals, the user will put their hand on the surface of water. Five sharks will form from their chakra and attack a target enemy. While frightening in its power when used against a target trapped underwater, this technique is not very useful when the opponent is above water and entirely useless without a big enough water body around.
- Name: Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu - Grand Waterfall Technique
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: A large supply of water or double amount of chakra used Description: This techniques creates a large water vortex that moves forward at a high speed. The water makes a strong impact and washes away the opponent and many objects that might get in the way. If you are drawn into this vortex, the force of the flow and rotation will make it almost impossible to escape. While this technique can easily drown an opponent, it is not very useful because it can only be used either in a place where there is a lot of water or by spending more chakra than it's really worth.
- Name: Great Wave
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: Suiton as Primary Element/Large body of water or double chakra used Description: The user will form the necessary hand seals. Once done, the surrounding water will create a large wave 20 feet high and 50 feet long. This wave can wash away opponents and cause moderate pressure damage. The user can use double the chakra to create water on the spot.
- Name: Piercing Rain
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: Suiton as primary element/Rain Description: For this jutsu to work, the area must be raining. The user will form a hand seal and the rain will become charged with chakra, slicing all who come into contact with it as if it were raining senbon. The chakra charged rain becomes soft again when it comes into contact with the source of the chakra creating it i.e. the user. The user may "mark" any allies with a small amount of chakra. This will cause the water senbon to soften when it goes near them, just as it does for the user, keeping the user from harming allies.

Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S-rank Requirements: Water as primary element Description: This jutsu is similar to all other jutsu that create water, though this one is different. All other water creation jutsu create enough water to use water jutsu. This jutsu creates a lake that is 30 feet deep and 200 feet in diameter. Obviously this water can be used for water jutsu, but its primary function is to alter the battlefield. The water will be created over the existing landscape, submerging a 200 foot diameter area in 30 feet of water.

- Name: Fuuton: Atsugai - Pressure Damage
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: S Requirements: None Description: To perform this jutsu, the user will release a concentrated wind sphere from their mouth. This projectile travels at a high speed and deals excessive damage. Though it does not follow with Wind element's usual cutting nature, it is powerful enough to bust through rock and keep going. Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Requirements: None Description: This ninjutsu follows the basic principles of wind element but is different from most. It is a purely close combat technique as it creates a wind blade the size of a normal katana in the user's hand. This "sword" is very strong and cannot be blocked by a physical weapon. It can be seen by notable distortions in the air.

Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B Requirements: Appropriate weapon Description: By channeling their wind natured chakra into a weapon that can channel chakra, a shinobi is able to increase the weapon's reach and cutting power. A blade of wind will form around the weapon and have the shape of the weapon if it was longer. The length of the wind blade can be adjusted but cannot increase the reach to over two times as far as the weapon has by itself and the amount of chakra required for this jutsu is directly dependent on the length of the wind blade.
- Name: Fuuton: Dai Kamaitachi - Great Cutting Whirlwind
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: B Requirements: A weapon that can create a flow of air, like a fan Description: This technique creates a powerful wind in a wide area, but its main part is that this wind has cutting properties. Basically, it's the same as Kamaitachi, but covering a larger area and more powerful. As most techniques that utilize weapons, this one does not require hand seals.
- Name: Fuuton: Reppushou - Gale Wind Palm
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Requirements: None Description: After forming the required hand seals, the user will launch a direct wind attack from their palm. It deals pressure damage rather than the usual cutting damage of wind element and packs quite a punch. Despite not being very damaging, it is quick to be executed and the actual projectiles are extremely fast.
- Name: Fuuton: Kiritsukeru Kaze (Slashing Wind)
Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Requirements: Wind Element, a claw-like weapon Description: The user will concentrate wind chakra on the tips of their claws and slash at the target. Thanks to the chakra, the air around the claws will be launched forwards. The slashes can be seen through distortions and travel fast, but lose effectiveness as the distance increases. At its maximum distance, around twenty-five feet, the slashes will be as effective as if the user had been up close to strike. The closer the target is, the sharper the blades, which allow for deeper wounds to be inflicted. The blades can be parried at all distances and normally leave a shallow flesh wound at most.

Background: Riku was raised by his older brother. His father had become crazed and killed his mother. He then attempted to kill Riku, but his older brother, Hikaru saved him. Injured, Riku's father fled and wasn't seen again. Riku wants revenge for what his father did, and has been searching for his father since he was 13. Due to this, Riku did not go to a ninja school, causing him to be a 17 year old Genin. Though Riku was born and raised in the Mist village, his parents were actually born and raised in the Leaf village. Riku's brother is currently a traveling shinobi who is home almost never. Riku and Hikaru's relationship used to be extremely close, though has recently started to weaken. Riku feels that his brother might be hiding something from him about his past, and Riku is determined to find out. When Riku turned 17, he was promoted to the title of Chuunin and lead a team of Genin. When he turned 18, he was promoted to Jounin and has begun searching for a new Genin team. As he returned from the Kage summit on his 19th birthday, he found out that the last Mizukage had left her post. Feeling obliged, Riku picked up the robes and took over as Mizukage, vowing to help return the village to a great place.
