Name: Reika "Raka" Araki
Alias: Majestic Moon
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 112 lbs
Appearance: - Spoiler:
Reika's appearance is a very simple, yet unexpectedly attractive one. Her somewhat small and slightly sharp heart-shaped face is cropped by a mass of deep blue hair which has been cut to lie jaggedly between her chin and her cute, round shoulders. Thin eyebrows sits over prominent, brilliant goldish amber eyes, amber eyes a bit too big for the rest of her face. Her sparkling, slightly tanned skin covers a slender body containing no special features. (In other words, she is about as shapely as a banana.) Her clothing style consists of various form fitting one pieces, largely resembling a cheongsam or ao dai with her own personal touch. When not in a dress, Reika can be seen in airy capri pants, a crop top with a small vest over it, and matching sandles.
A small single black bell dangles lightly from her left ear on a chain.
Race: Asian
Hair: Blue
Eyes: Amber
Body: Slender
Ethnicity: The Land of Rice Fields
Personality: Reika has something of a rapid fire personality. On a normal day, during a normal situation, she is very content with herself and the things around her, a smirk constantly on her face and an evil, trouble-causing thought being formed in her head. Optimism would even be a good word for her natural high. In her light mood, she is happy with the simple things in life. Being the mischevious being she is, Reika is almost
always in some type of trouble.
However, when she is angry, the young girl is
angry. She has a spewing wrath like no other, and until she is satisfied with situation after causing her own sense of justice, there is absolutely no way to calm the fires. Though her bark might be slightly bigger than her bite, whoever pisses her off will still walk away with an aching painful bleeding gash from the bite she so viciously took.

Background: Reika Araki's youth had been a very,
very simple one. Nothing strange or out of the ordinary happened to her within the short amount of time it took her to transform into an adolescence from a mere child. Being blessed with a loving and wealthy family, there was no need for her to know of anything strange or out of the ordinary, dangerous or life threatening.
The only thing she needed to know was how to be a child.
Of course, being the person she was, the young girl made something so simple into something so thoroughly complicated. Being the only child between her lovely parents Maiko and Shinnosuke, she was ignorant to the fights of siblings, she was ignorant to the feelings of jealous and other things dealing with selfishness, and since there was no one else to fight with amongst her home, Reika was also alone.
The awareness of being alone did not last long for the little one, however. Reika, or Raka as she earned, made friends, plenty of them. old and young alike. She was praised for the intelligence she possessed, her ever present curiosity, her hunger for knowledge, and the mischevious nature she possessed because of it. Though her village loved her, there was only one person she wished to get any attention from.
Ginza Myoujin.
Nothing really mattered to the moon child if Ginza did not give his own opinion on it. She cared for nothing else. It was hard to say who lead who and who followed who, but one thing which was clearly seen was the fact of them caring for each other. The two encouraged each other, challenged each other, supported each other, got in trouble together, and shared their punishments. The pair of best friends was one being. Reika truly cared for Ginza, even fell in love with him, though she would never admit it.
Ever.
So when the death of six members of the Myoujin family was discovered, Raka was truly lost for words and for reasons unknown to her. Was it because she never told him? Was it because she was never able to say goodbye? Either way, she had lost her best friend and was suffering because of it. Everyday, to sooth her pain, she prayed at his grave. Everyday, to sooth her pain, she cried under the moonlight alone. Luckily, school helped quite a bit in helping her cope. The distraction was very well needed. The young girl never cared much for attending school, but she knew it was Ginza's wish to become a great ninja and a hardworking person and took said wish on as her own, passing the academy with flying colors. However, as soon as Reika had reached this accomplishment, she was presented with more bad news.
Reika was, in fact, adopted.
In her mind, such a thing did not matter. Family was family no matter if they were blood-related or not, but there was more to the story. The girl's biological mother was killed by her father soon after she was born, and no one has heard any news dealing with him since. The two people she had known as her mother and father for her entire life had been the best friends of her mother, her godmother and godfather. After hearing such news, the blue-haired being could not stay home anymore. She had to leave; she had to become stronger; she had to lift this weight off of her being. Paying one last visit to the Myoujin graves, Reika gathered the information she needed and left Otogakure.
Raka needed to be stronger. There was only one person to help her in this endeavor, and so, she made her way to Iwagakure to pursue him.
