Clan Description: Hyouton is the bloodline ability to combine wind and nearby water to create ice, and manipulate it into various forms as: Senbon (needles), spears, mirrors. Ice created in this manner is of course fused with the Chakra of the user, thus giving it several significant advantages.
The Hyouton bloodline has been dotted through history. For a long period of time, Haku of the Mist was the sole possessor of the blood. Therefore, when he died it was assumed that the ability to control Ice as an element, was lost forever. However, over time, users of the Hyouton bloodline have began to re-emerge into society; once again focusing their population within the village of Kirigakure.
Clan Traits/Characteristics: Members of the Hyouton bloodline have few physical traits in-common with each other. First of all, they are all of an extremely pale completion, with jet-black hair which is usually kept long. As always, there are some exceptions to these traits, yet this is incredibly rare. On top of this, it is not uncommon for Hyouton members to wear a traditional mask when entering battle. When it comes to mental traits, the Hyouton have even less in common. They rarely participate in Close-Combat due to the nature of the techniques, therefore being based in Chakra-heavy styles; indicating a high-level on intellect.
Clan Personality: The personality of Clan Members varies from person to person, yet there are a few common traits held by most. The Hyouton Clan, for the most part, lives a secluded life style. Though they maintain residence within a village (for the most part), they rarely interact with those whom aren't a member of the Clan.

Name: Ice Creation
Requirements: Hyouton Clan, Water Primary Element.
Description: Ice Creation is the basis of all Jutsu's used by the Hyouton Clan. Ice Creation allows a member of the Hyouton Bloodline to mix together Water and Wind in a specific ration, also lace it with Chakra, to create Ice. However, it isn't simply regular ice. Seeming as it is mixed with the users Chakra, it takes on two special qualities. First of all, any Hyouton Ice can not be melted and is near impervious to Fire-Based Jutsus. Secondly, Hyouton Ice is as hard as diamond, making it basically unbreakable. Strength of the Ice is according to the opponent's Rank and the Rank of the Jutsu they use as followed (user Rank must be at least A-Rank either way):

Description: A crucial Jutsu for the Hyouton Clan; it allows the use to blow out snow by forming water Chakra in their throat. This is used for setting up future Jutsus when there is no source of Ice in the area. The amount created depends on the user.

Description: Hyouton • Haryuu Mouko is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, an ice tiger will rise from the surrounding ice to strike out against its target. Its cold nature can freeze any nearby water, and its large mass can cause a large amount of damage when it impacts.
Name: Hyouton • Makyou Hyoushou (Ice Release • Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors)

Description: Makyou Hyoushou is a Ninjutsu technique unique to the Hyouton bloodline. After forming the necessary hand seals, nearby water forms long flat mirrors 360 degrees around the target. They then places themselves inside one of the mirrors. Once inside the mirror, they can then using the mirror reflections to confuse his target. Utilizing the reflections, they can then almost instantaneously move from one mirror to the other. Due to the speed, their target will appear to be moving in slow motion. Because of this they can then unleash numerous needles into their opponent with little difficulty. Keep in mind, this Jutsu can only be used for a certain number of posts.

Name: Hyouton • Sensatsu Suishou (Ice Release • Death by a Thousand Flying Water Needles)

Description: Sensatsu Suishou is a Ninjutsu technique unique to the Hyouton bloodline. To create the needles, the user forms the needed hand seals and then kicks water into the air with their foot. The water then rises into the air and takes the form of a thousand needles. These needles then come raining down on their target. The number of Senbon created varies on the Rank of the user.

Description: Hyourou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Hyouton Clan. After forming the needed handseals, the user will touch the ground, causing columns of ice to rise from the ground at their foe. If caught, the ice will rise up around her target and imprison them. They can also use this technique as a defensive measure, raising the ice to form a shield against incoming attacks. The Prison can withstand attacks up to a B-Rank.

Description: Hyouton • Tsubame Fubuki is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. The user will create ice swallows which they can launch at their opponent. As they fly through the air, these deadly birds can hone in on their target. A sufficiently hot enough counter can melt the ice swallows (C-Rank+).

Description: Hyouton • Itsukaku Hakuegei is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, a gigantic horned white whale made of ice will rise from the surrounding snow to come thundering down on an opponent, crushing them and the surrounding area under its large mass. However, even if this fails; once the whale has struck the ground, it will shatter, covering a large area with Ice for future attacks.

Description: Hyouton • Rouga Nadare is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, an avalanche of snow will rain down towards the user's opponent. As the snow slides down, it will coalesce into large snow wolves. These wolves can follow the user's bidding and attack their opponent. A sufficiently powerful straight thrust can disrupt the wolves and return them to snow.

Description: Hyouton • Kokuryuu Boufuusetsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, the user will thrust their arm to send out a black ether-like dragon to strike his opponent. As it flies through the air it will begin to turn, when it hits the target it will use its motion to launch the opponent high into the air.

Description: Hyouton • Souryuu Boufuusetsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed handseals, the user will thrust their arms to send out twin black ether-like dragons to strike his opponent. As they fly through the air they will begin to turn, creating a large dark tornado. Upon doing so, the tornado will suck up anything in its path, anything liftable within 50 feet.

Description: This is a highly-advanced version of the original Bunshin Jutsu. It requires one to have the Hyouton (Ice) Bloodline, and at least a medium supply of water in order to use. Using the Ram Handsign, the user concentrates their Chakra to mold a Clone of themself made completely of ice. Because it's made up of ice, it's very hard to destroy by normal means. Two main ways to destroy the Clone is to either use a Katon Jutsu on it (at least A-Rank), or a Jutsu that has a lot of power into it, or completely shatter it by some means.
Name: Hyouton: Hakuryu Kaiten (Ice Release: White Dragon Spiral)
Type: Ninjutsu/Taijutsu

Description: Hakuryu Kaiten Rin's 'Absolute Defense' and one of the 'Three Divine Counters'. By quickly rotating his/her body, the practitioner uses centripetal force as well as friction created from the momentum of centripetal force along with his own natural wind chakra to create a whirlwind around him and raise moisture into the air directly around the spiral and creating frost that envelopes into thick ice. Small projectiles such as shuriken and kunai can be blown away by the spiral and the combination of rotation and ice can absorb up to B-rank jutsu, however it only absorbs roughly a third of the damage and force from an A-rank jutsu. In addition, the practitioner can halt the rotation and use the ice and wind chakra to create a mesh of armor protecting most of his body which can absorb even up to S-Rank jutsu, however this only lasts for three turns before dissolving and melting away.
Name: Hyouton • Hyou Ryuujin (Ice Dragon God)

Description: Hyou Ryuujin one of the Hyouton techniques which were contrived by Rin Shouten due what she believes as a lack of the Hyouton element. Hyou Ryuujin utilizes the Ice element through soul of Rin's sword Tsukihime and draws ice swirling around the blade of Tsukihime and spiraling around Rin herself until Rin slashes downcast. The ice congealed around the blade of Tsukihime and spiraling around the form of Rin will then shape itself into an ice dragon produced from the blade of Tsukihime with a pair of glowing crimson irises. The Ice Dragon will then flow towards Rin's opponent and threaten to consume them, freezing anything that it touches instantly.

Description: A component of Rin's 'Absolute Defense' along with Hakuryu Kaiten, Hyouin Houi is a ninjutsu technique utilized by the Tsuchikage, Rin Shouten in the situation where her 'Three Divine Counters' are unable to prevent her from recieving damage. Hyouin Houi constructs the perfect defense by compressing ice into invisible 'layers' around Rin Shouten. These layers of defense are able to absorb the damage from up to S-Rank Taijutsu and Ninjutsu all the same, however the layers of protection are extremely vulnerable to flame. Despite being near-impervious, the layers will shatter with enough damage inflicted.

Description: Tenso Jurin is one of the Hyouton techniques which were contrived by Rin Shouten and perhaps her most basic (yet possibly her strongest) Hyouton technique. Tenso Jurin breaks the limitation of the Hyouton user requiring a cold climate in order to use their techniques, allowing Rin to control the weather in the immediate vicinity, or more accurately, control the water and moisture in the surrounding atmostphere, allowing Rin to use her Ice techniques even if there is no ice within the nearby vicinity.
