Name: Huo Yuanjia
Alias: None (Yet)
Age: 42
Gender: Male
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 142
Appearance: Race: Chinese
Hair: Picture?
Eyes: Sea-green
Body: Not too skinny (but not fat by any means), Quick, Fit.
Ethnicity: Wind Country
Personality:Huo is a very respectful and good spirited soul. He understands life isn't always fair, but he isn't a pessimist. Unlike most of the world's population, Huo understands that to have a good life, you must make it so yourself. If you wait and don't act yourself, you will get screwed over every chance there is, but if you try and enjoy life, there's nothing that can get in your way.
He's a very respectful person, careful about not hurting someone, and trying to understand and follow everyone's personal rules. Be it to stay a yard away, or to not mention the words "Color" and "Flimsy" he'll try his best to follow them.
He's a very optimistic person. He's learned to find the bright side of something, for better or worse, and likes to help other see the light too. He enjoys helping others and helping them achieve optimism and joy in there life, never giving up on them.
Everything in life he's gained, has been through hard work, courage, and perseverance. He's been in some pretty bad situations, but he always seems to make it out okay, no matter the amount of pain and scars he gained from it.
Huo is one of those people that find it odd to be handed something of just out of nowhere, instead he's used to fighting for it. Since fighting for his life and everything he's ever had, he's rather grown fond of a challenge. A good and healthy fight is always a fun way to pass the time, and indeed a good challenge. Even if the opponent is out for blood, Huo is just in it for the challenge, and will usually try to refrain from killing unless there's absolutely no way around it.
Though he's a very optimistic person though, he's had a terrible life. He will not tell his history to anyone, he will not lie about it, he will not try to change topics, he just will not speak of his own history. He's learned to not take in someone, and to love them as he had others in his past. One by One they had all died, and he was always in the center of the mess. He didn't hate himself for 'assisting' in their deaths, but he has learned by his mistakes and prays for them every day. He has a wall around his heart, not only meant to protect himself from being hurt anymore, but from hurting anyone else.

- Name: Bunshin no Jutsu - Clone Technique
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: E (Basic)
Requirements: None
Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.
- Name: Henge no Jutsu - Transformation Technique
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: E (Basic)
Requirements: None
Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents. However, it does not grant one the properties of said objects or skills of that person, meaning turning into a weapon will not allow you to cut an opponent and turning into a dog will not give you a great sense of smell.
This technique can also be used in conjunction with someone, who may a person, a pet or a summoning creature, in which case it is called Konbi Henge (Combination Transformation). However, its principles remain the same.
- Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu - Body Substitution Technique
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: E (Basic)
Requirements: None
Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Naturally, it won't work with another person unless their skill gap is enormous, and the object to replace oneself with must be close in size and weight to the ninja themselves. This technique must be set up a little ahead when fighting skilled opponents, otherwise, you may end up getting struck because you wouldn't have enough time to use it.
- Name: Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: C (Basic)
Requirements: None
Description: A skill that every self-respecting shinobi must have. It is based on concentrating chakra to the soles of one's feet and using it to stick to objects, which would allow one to walk on vertical surfaces and even upside down. This is also often used as chakra control training, since the soles of the feet are said to be the hardest place to control your chakra.
- Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu - Escaping Skill
Type: Taijutsu
Rank: D (Basic)
Requirements: None
Description: A very basic skill, without which a shinobi would become the laughing stock of the village. It allows them to escape ropes and similar simple restraints. However, advanced knots and heavier restraints than a simple rope maybe too much for a basic skill like this to handle.
- Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza - Act of Water Surface Walking
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: B (Basic)
Requirements: Kinobori
Description: A more advanced technique than Kinobori, it allows one to walk on water or other similar liquid or amorphous objects. It is used in a similar fashion to its predecessor, but the shinobi must also release a constant flow of chakra into the water to keep themselves on its surface. It is often used as advanced chakra control training, since it takes the same basic concept as tree climbing technique and kicks it up a notch.

Background:Huo has had a pretty.. well pretty bad life. Born to a sick mother, Angel, and a dead father, Jack, (rest in peace) Huo had to take life into his own hands pretty early in life. Angel tried her very best to help Huo and take care of him on her own, but she was very weak and should have probably had help of her own. Their home probably wasn't the best either, they lived in Sunagakure, a little village in the middle of a gigantic desert full of nothing but sand.
They were also dirt poor. They had a little hut, but that was all they had to their name. Or rather they slept in an abandoned hut on the outskirts of the village, just inside the walls. Angel had possibly only survived this long cause Jack had helped take care of her and gotten the money to support them both. With Jack's leave, Angel realized she had to take up working herself to supply not only herself with the necessities of life, but also her newborn son. She became a maid for half a dozen other residencies to have enough to get the worst of the food and water available.
One day, when Huo was only 16 months old, Angel was carrying him for a little stroll.. Outside the village walls. It wasn't very far outside the walls, only like a half mile or so, but they finished there walk and were beginning their way home. Suddenly Angel collapsed, and Huo was thrown into the sand. She had a heart attack, caused from her weakened state, dehydration, and stress among many other things. It took a day for the village to realize that they were missing, and 2 more days after that to find Huo and Angel. Angel was dead, and Huo had lost his vision from the sand working away his eyeballs to almost nothing.
Immediately upon finding Huo and Angel, they rushed them both to the village's hospital where doctors worked on them through the 3 nights and 2 days straight without break. After the 3rd night the released the news to the public, Huo had made it, but lost his vision forever. They were too late for Angel though, she had continued on into the spirit world.
Huo was left with nothing, no parents, no home, no vision, nothing... The doctors who had saved his life, and spent so much time trying to saved his mothers shared some of his pain, but they could not even feel a fraction of what Huo felt. He was only a 16 months old, and had already experienced what many couldn't even dream about.
One of the doctors that had lost his mother when he was a teenager decided to help Huo to the best of his abilities. He took him in, and gave him food, water, baths, a bed, and love. The man loved Huo like a child of his own, and Huo began to love the doctor, Rua, like a parent. The man was poor, being a doctor had supplied him with enough to get along with, but with a new mouth to feed and body to take care of, he wasn't in the best of positions. He knew Huo needed help though, not only to watch him when Rua had to work, but also to help him mentally. It wasn't easy to lose a parent, and Huo had lost both his, and much more. So when Huo was about 6 he hired a nanny, who also tripled as a psychiatrist and a tutor.
The nanny, Grace, helped watch over Huo, feeding him, teaching him, and helping him overcome his losses. She became Huo's new mother to him, and Rua his new father. Grace continued to help him for a year or two before deciding to take the next step. Try to fix his 'little mind' to help him cope with all his losses. Grace however decided to use a method that she used on other patients she used to work with. She tried to sprint towards the end line to making Huo forget and overcome his losses. Unfortunately she gassed herself before she could reach the gate. She had a mental breakdown herself, losing control after trying to talk to Huo about his losses and his life so far. After Grace didn't come to watch over Huo for three days straight, Rua contacted the authorities about her absence.
2 days after that they found Grace dead in her closet. She had hung herself after hearing and imagining the losses Huo had been through. Talking to Huo had pushed her into depression and killing herself. Huo had lost Grace, the woman who was supposed to help him with his sanity and emotions, the woman he had taken into his life as his new mommy. Rua didn't know what Grace had meant to Huo, and never would. Huo wouldn't talk about her to anyone, not even Rua.
Rua decided to quit his beloved medic career, and retire so he could spend time and take care of Huo. His old co-workers who had also helped in 'saving' Huo's life all helped keep Rua supplied with money and necessities like food, water, and payed for his home. Rua spent night and day beside Huo, and decided to leave his history and Grace's death alone..
That is until Huo reached the age of 10. Rua couldn't help but continue with his 'selfish desires' to figure out what exactly had happened in Huo's past and what had happened between him and Grace. He sat Huo down in his room to talk to him. And Huo, respecting Rua as his father and loving him for taking care of him for so long, explained everything he was asked. Rua thought about what he was told all night, through making dinner, through eating dinner, through tucking Huo in to sleep, and through reading his favorite book in the light of their fireplace.
The next morning Huo awoke screaming and with a splitting headache, he had a terrible nightmare. He hopped out of bed to go ask Rua to tell him everything was alright, so he tiptoed into the living room to wake up Rua who usually fell asleep on the couch before heading to his room. Instead of a sleeping Rua though, he found Rua's body lying on the ground, his head burning in the fireplace, though the fire was not only withheld in the firepit, half the house had already burned from it's onspreading flames. Rua, the man who had saved Huo's life, had taken care of him, who had loved him like a child, who Huo had loved and taken in as his father, had killed himself. Huo grabbed Rua's favorite book that was partly burned, and ran out the door and for the hospital. The book: 'A Dead Awakening'
About halfway to the hospital, Huo had a sudden realization. The only part that continued from every one of his 'families' deaths.. Was him being there. He began to tear up and decided to run for the place he had originally called 'home' where Jack and Angel had lived. The whole place had been completely abandoned, and it was the only place left he truly knew. So hopefully he would be safe there. Here he spent the rest of his time, never leaving for more than a few hours to scavenge food from garbages and water from the sewage.
It took many, many years for him to leave the house. When he finally did he went to the hospital, but no one recognized him, he was 40 years old and they had all thought he had died in the fire. In those 30 years he had learned that it couldn't really be his faul they had all died. Just many coincidences and he remembered Grace's lessons. He felt happy, like nothing bad could go wrong. In the back of his mind though he remembered all his losses and negative feelings.
Now he is trying to enlighten the rest of the world with Angel's, Rua's, and Grace's good-spirits trying to teach others to be happy and look on the bright side of life.
