A Reunion? [Hatakeyma/Branch Only]

The front door slid open through the left as the Raikage and head of Hatakeyama family himself stood in the doorway looking outside to see who came as far as to personally bother his residence. His eyes scanned around noticing the Crow that was so familiar to him but even more, he noticed his son laying against it sleeping. Letting off a slightly sigh and small smirk of pleasure to see his son again, his face resumed normality as he then motioned forward to pet the Crow and take Musashi off of the Crow's back. Shigeyasu held his son in his arms looking at the boy noticing how much he had grown since the last time that he had seen him, but there was no time for him to catch up. He carried his youngest son through the household bringing him to the room that was his and laying him onto the bed. Shigeyasu moved a quilt onto his soon as he rubbed his forehead running his hand through Musashi's hair as he quietly left him there to rest.


--- 2 hours later ---

The smell of breakfast quickly rose through the household as Haruka, the mother of Musashi began preparing a meal that she knew her dearest son could not resist. He was always quite fond of her cooking and being that this would be the first time that she had seen him in years, she decided to welcome him home with a bowl of her special homemade ramen. Placing it on a tray along with chopsticks she carried the food up to the sleeping Musashi's room laying it down against a table that was on the right side of his bed. Haruka kissed the forehead of her son and petted Gin passing to her a little bowl of grounded meat that she prepared for Gin to eat while they both waited for young Musashi to awaken. Haruka wondered exactly how Sasaki would react to seeing his younger brother back home, but he was out training, she didn't want to spoil the surprise and call him home so instead she smiled whispering to Gin.
"Sasaki sure will be surprised to see him home again, would he girl?" Haruka closed her eyes letting off a friendly giggle to Gin as her own Crow Zenshi turned looking at Gin from by the windowsill. Zenshi was still the same as before, eyes blue and cold from the hardships it witnessed in Haruka's youth, it was almost saddening, but due to the past Zenshi was never really one to show much love and affection to anyone besides Haruka, not even to Shigeyasu who at this time was already gone and returned to the Raikage's mansion filling out his papers. Zenshi's head turned back looking at the village from outside the window not even bothering to greet Gin on her return.

Meanwhile


At the Raikage mansion Shigeyasu went through some files making sure not to slack off on his duties, He would rather be at home enjoying the company of his son since his return, but his duties as the Raikage came first, he could not waste anytime. He read through the list of new Genin and began selecting a few squads from the village that were recommended to travel to Konohagakure for the upcoming Chunin exams. While in the mist of all this work one of his workers came into the office, Shigeyasu rose his head looking sternly at the man as he wondered what could be this important for his interruption.
"Lord Raikage..Is it true? I heard that earlier this morning your youngest son Ginny was seen returning to the village?..Have you seen him? Do you want me to arrange for him to come see you sir?" The worker asked enthusiastically hoping for a joyous response from Shigeyasu, but this was not what was given back. His eyes still stern looking at the man now like he wanted to just beat him down, caused the worker to lower his head almost scared for his own life. Shigeyasu stood up and began walking towards the exit of the room as he responded.
"There's no time for that..I've got work to do.." With that Shigeyasu left the room walking towards a inner stairwell that was not far to the left of his office. This stairwell led to the roof of the Mansion, and in time Shigeyasu stood looking down at the village wondering if his son had gotten any stronger since his leave. It would joy Shigeyasu's heart to know that he was, but all of this would be revealed in time to him if it was so.

Musashi's mother was as tender as he had remembered, her soft kiss on his forehead greatly calmed him eagerly hungry body and he couldn't resist the chance to hug her in response, it had been years since he felt his mothers embrace.

"Hey mom..." his voice was quit now, enjoying the moment. It would have continued to be a nice family moment if not for the growl that followed from Musashi's belly, blushing Musashi smiled and tightened his hug for a moment, only letting go to grab his dish and sit on his bed. Gin followed over to her own dish and started pigging out and eating it with sadistic glee, the devourment of her meat filled the room with its noise.

"Not very lady like Gin." Musashi pointed out looking at his companion with a smile and a small chuckle. Gin responded with defiance, lifting her butt in the air and shaking her tail feathers with a caw, although her eating was much more formal as she returned to it. Musashi finished his chuckle and looked back to his mother.

"Nothing's changed has it?" his voice was a rhetorical question, like he was living in flashback, everything seemed just as it always had been. Musashi's stomach growled again as he looked down at the soon to be devoured dish, it was almost sad how long the poor noodles would survive. Musashi nodded his head towards his mother in gratitude, and began chowing down.

Musashi's mouth made the distinctive slurping sound of the last noodle, the sound was quickly followed with the familiar 'ahhh' of a well enjoyed meal. Musashi smiled at his mother as she made her question, would it be proper to reveal his new powers this soon? Ah what the heck, it was mom asking afterall. Musashi stood from his position on the bed, stretching a small bit as he relaxed the joints in his body. Musashi tipped on finger to his chin for a moment, trying to think of how to really show his his trainings progress, he couldn't think of a specific way so he decided to try and show progress into an ability he had yet to truly master.

Musashi closed his eyes and held out his palms, concentrating on the chakra points with precision and skill, focussing outwords in a healing fashion. Musashi would not see it, but he could feel it as his palms began glowing a very stable color of teal with his chakra, bruises on the hand faded away underneath the chakra, the fade was slow and they were only minor injuries, but they faded none the less. Musahi opened his and looked at his mother, his hands still glowing with chakra.

"Well it doesn't look like much, but I've mastered the control of my chakra... Sadly, I don't think father will be impressed, its not very flashy.." There was sadness in Musashi's eyes, he had chosen to learn something important over something powerful, it just wouldn't have the impact he wanted on being acknowledged. Gin stopped eatng for a moment and walked towards Musashi, Gin cawed and tugged her head underneath one of his hands to be petted, he did so without even thinking, keeping his chakra in check on the hand without focussing.
